As a photographer myself i loved it all the light was perfect and her out fit and the color of the train just poped well together and i liked how you gave her instructions and she followed thru and she also posed on her own which showed me she has some experience how ever i would have liked to see more of that beautiful smile over all i say the session went well and i am looking forward to see more of your videos so i will be be following you oh and thanks for the lesson i enjoyed it.

yes! i didnt even notice the soothing music til this comment but it really did feel like we were there. LIke even the way you talked to the model wasnt like super bright all the time but real. enjoyed the video very much!

Awesome location shoot. Your beautiful model's orange top and matching high heels really made your shots pop. I have the AD 300pro, and the 33.4 EZ lock Glow soft box love that mount is made to fit the 300 pro....The background music was a nice touch but a little to loud in some parts i had trouble hearing what you were saying...Love your videos keep em coming!

I'm so glad! It really depends on the look you are going for but either can get the job done in general. The type of light modifier comes down to specific looks you may desire.

Thanks for watching! Yes you surely can anytime the camera shutter speed is over 1/250 then the flash unit automatically goes into high speed sync. The key is to make sure that your flash unit has high speed sync capability. I've used high speed sync on my D850 numerous times.

Great video -- how do you handle it when the ambient light is changing constantly with clouds/sun moving in and out? I find this to be so frustrating. Do you adjust settings each time and keep going?

Good question! Most of the time I use a variable ND filter so its just a matter of changing my ND but yes between that and adjusting the flash power for ultimate control is ideal. You could also use TTL mode but you have less creative control in that case.

Agreed solid modifiers! For ND filters I use freewell magnetic system, they are pretty good, also B+W filters!
