Wow 🤩 just thank you for sharing this as now I can read these books with understanding of God about these men you speak about Samuel Saul David and Solomon so clear and articulate. I actually broke down when you spoke about how David was the runt it made me think of my own life not that I was the runt but all of the twists and turns of my own life. It made me see God that he has my back no matter what if we are obedient to him. Praise God hallelujah!!

We have been reading Absalom’s story at bible study. I hadn’t realized his father was “THE” David; as in vs Goliath. This video taught me that. I appreciate the way you spoke of David being overlooked by his family and the broken home he was raised up in. Great lecture and video!

Thank you so much, sir. What a great summarization. I always watch these videos after ( so I am not influenced by man but the Holy spirit) I have finished reading that particular book in the Bible. Always blessed by the insights. God bless you

I think the difference between the self-destruction of Saul and the SD of David is David was acutely aware of what it meant to lose the anointing of God. He knew no matter what happened he needed to minister to the Lord with his music and seeking, praising, and worshiping Him. I think we see more of the "destruction" of David because it shows us the most important part of David's life was ministering to the Lord and that God's anointing and presence in our lives are way more important than success or personal gain.

This is more of an introduction not a one hour; one book. I love these videos individually but they’re are unorganized and titled poorly on this KZread channel

I got news for you, 31-minutes is not an hour. And shouldn't there be one hour dedicated to each book of Samuel?

  • @victoriaanoelle

It is okay, it is just kinda the name of the channel. And the book of Samuel was originally one whole story but was separated because of the length. So it makes perfect sense to why it is only one video.

@@victoriaanoelle so if I put this in terms of man's currency (since Christians cannot comprehend the Creator's currency which is time). If I owed you $60 for something, but gave you $31, that would be ok, because well "$60" it is just the name of your price tag. In other words if you call something an hour (60 minutes) it should be 60-minutes.

He gives us a lecture on a specific book, each one taking no more than one hour. Best 31 minutes spent.
