Tired of going to the gym to get in a great leg workout? Looking at all the machines and treadmills, but secretly wishing you can just go figure skating instead? Well this workout is exactly what you need!
In this lesson we have picked 5 exercises that focus on one foot skating to really work those leg muscles and feel the burn. The exercises can be a little challenging, so be sure to take breaks before moving onto the next one.
So when you're ready to work those legs, put on your skates and check out this lesson for your next training session.

1. Forward Power Pulls (Forward One Foot Slalom)
2. Backward Power Pulls (Backward One Foot Slalom)
3. Forward Outside Double 3-Turns
4. Forward Inside Double 3-Turns
5. Forward Inside Twizzles

This honestly might be my fave video of yours yet! These are such great exercises and seeing the use of arms on the double 3-turns really helps me see how turns can be used in choreography!!

I'm here wondering if the slalom pull even works on roller skates. I have to find out! The 3 turns I'll take forever to be able to change my arms. And I don't even want to think about the travelling (roller version of twizzle) !!! One thing at a time. Starting with how to pull with a single leg and how to do a clean 3 turn

Someone told me I couldn't do it, and I said nothing and showed them how it's done. I was doing Laybacks at 33 years of age at never skating until 33 years old. Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't do it. You can if you want it bad enough.😂 I wanted to learn the physics behind the spin and still skating after 20 years.
