DJ and Eddie Alvarez aside I would say that most One champs are somewhere between low to mid tier UFC. ONE tends to be more competitive with the UFC with their lighter fighters. For example fight matrix ranks Zebaztian Kadestam, the ONE middleweight champ as the 40th best middleweight in the world where it ranks the ONE featherweight champion, Kevin Belingon, as 17th in the world. Beligon Also has a win over Bibiano Fernandez who turned down a UFC offer to fight in ONE.

Not at all. A ONE middleweight champ would be destroyed 100/100 times against either Whittaker or Romero, they're different levels. But ONE is improving very fast with Yushin Okami, a top 10 UFC fighter being signed. Maybe in 5 years they could be similar, but for now UFC is way better in terms of skill.

@@nicksmith3746 twice now, although the decision on that 2nd fight was questionable, especially considering angela was the champ and it was an extremely close fight. the challenger should need to win fairly convincingly to get a decision over the champ. it was very close and far from convincing. should have been a draw at best for the challenger.

Angela Lee and Ronda Rousey has a lot in common, both are smoking hot and beautiful. Their ground games are the best in females. Submission Wizards ,, Both can't handle elite boxers and lost their 0's record to good strikers. These Beautiful demons can pass for beauty pageants.

rousey shouldn't have let critics affect her fighting style. it was stupid to try and stand up with superior strikers, she very well may have won those fights if she took it to the ground.

Mark De Mesa She has a slight Hawaiian “Pidgin” accent but it’s more subtle than the moke girls. I’m sure she could turn it on more when needed. She’s Asian local so her accent is like a 10-15%. Rachel Ostovich is Hawaiian Portuguese so her accent is like an 85%.

Nick Smith a country promotion? Is that what you call a region of over 4 billion people..? When people like yourself or American MMA media talk about One’s financials you seem to not realise how such organisations are valued or how investments work or even basic business sense. UFC was operating on a lose well into the mid- to late- 2000s. Facebook, WhatsApp, etc all operated on a loss relying on investments an seed funding to build out its infrastructure and grow rapidly gaining more users/subscribers etc. One already had an average of 20 million viewers per fight card. Up from less a 1 million a few years ago. It’s planning an average viewership of over 100 million by 2022. You really think that can’t be monetised? One’s backers are legit investors who have a track record of backing successful companies and have no interest in throwing their money away. They’re investing 100s of millions into One because of its future earning potential. One’s in a rapid growth phase and its popularity and viewership is growing rapidly. They’re opening a US office in June and possibly hold a show there at some point. Even US media and many Americans who watched One’s most recent card because of DJ and Eddie admit One has legit talent. One will monetise and make a profit when the time is right but right now it’s growing at a record pace.
