Hunain H and you’re equally stupid talking about America/Canada as westerners, so it seems fair. And as far as freak fights one hasn’t gone down that path yet, but without a doubt every single one of their cards has several mismatches. But I can excuse that because of the lack of competition so far. I’m not saying one is bad but for them to take the moral high ground is laughable.

@Andy Laish If you listened to Ben Askren on JRE he said that when he was competing in ONE there was no drug testing because Chatri doesn't think steroids are prevalent culturally in the region, which is ridiculous given we know that back in Pride days in Japan it specifically said there would be no ped drug testing in the contracts. There's no colony mindset pal, maybe know what you're talking about before you try lecturing me ;)

Asia untainted? "Integrity"? " honor"? Those decades of yakuza mafia fueled fixed fights aren't forgotten, and those bad actors are surely still lurking around asia. Every fight they promote will have the stink of the corruption from the past. Demetrios johnson is PERFECT for them, he would NEVER take a fall for money. It's exciting and fun to watch those fighters but it is some kind of of emotions when you see them give each other respect and sportsmanship after the fight. So glad that One Championship has that honor and congratulations of doing such a good job!!!

Martials Arts did not arise in Asian any more than they arose anywhere else. Indigenous forms of wrestling and striking have been developed all over the world. Efforts to combine those art forms have been attempted all over the world. Some specific forms of martial arts arose from Asia but that can be said of a lot of other places too. Also, Pride was based in Japan and had all of the problems of western MMA organizations amplified.

The conference is more about business than sport. Using money to buy the best fighters in the world. The viewership is so high because everything is free. I really hope they made money or else someone going to pay for all these spending. They should list out how much they are making. Give us a rough sense of how much this promotion is valued.

The minute I watched a full blown assault take place on live tv and it was universally accepted and applauded not just by fans but the media as well, I knew it was over. Not saying I dont myself wish to smack some little smart ass big mouth that needs it or disrespects me, because I have felt that many times and done it or wanted to..in the past..way back. But now I'd be in jail just nobody me. Formerly known as mixed martial arts did not do things like this for promotion or views. We as fans eat it up but it's still not right to support it. Had Dana stepped in and layed down even a low level hit to the pocket book fine..it would have helped prevent future incidents. Most of these guys can't afford a 10k fine or whatever. So that could be a good incentive to keep your hands to yourself. But that doesn't get likes and shares and memes on social media. That doesn't make fights. So welcome to fight club. The first rule of fight club is...there are no rules if it makes us money other than no steroids.

He has some point about the picture of martial arts has been ruined by Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov Mma has nothing to do with gangster, isis members or mafia Ufc do doping test but we all saw how they treated Jon Jones about that

The difference between Dana White (the uneducated one) and both Chatri and Coker is Dana's success can be attributed to his super rich friends helping him grow the UFC and then to have super expensive highly educated workers (ex. executives, expensive lawyers, marketing company) to figure out how to best manage a large corporation. @RogueSinister MMA weight classes should only be 145 lbs and over. The lighter weight classes are boring. 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 205, 225, 265. Those should be the weight classes for men.
