One 3 Origin C Review - After 1 year of use

A little about me:
I am James McBurnett. I live in the great state of Texas. Probably not where you would think, but I am located in the panhandle region. I moved here from Alabama and work as a Chemical Engineer in the area. After being here for a few years, I decided to get back to my roots as a fisherman. It is quite challenging in my area to find a body of water to fish. The closest lake to me is about 40 miles away.
After a couple more years, I realized how much I love fishing and wanted to share it with the world. Clearwater fishing was born. I wanted to teach people all about fishing. This includes rods, reels, fishing line, bait, lures, largemouth bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, bluegill, boats, boat trailers, outboards, and anything else related to fishing.
I also wanted to share my fishing experiences as well. To be entertaining, knowledgeable, comical, and FUN. This channel was created out of the love of the sport of fishing, and I plan to keep making content that represents that. Thank you for watching this video and reading a bit about me. An honest review as far as I’m concerned without the excess unnecessary “fat” and nonsense spec & tech garble…you brought your opinion after using it for one year of fishing with it and delivered the information that buyers of this reel are actually looking in terms of usage, reliability, handling, casting, drag and settings etc. Great review!

@@clearwaterfishing oops apologies if I was I premature with that comment about about that “crap” and tech remark as I generally think that most reviewers only comment on the specs and tend to forgo testing it on the water.
Great review buddy! I have quite a few of their reels.. looking to get one just as an extra strictly for Texas rigs and looks like this one would be perfect. So good to see your channel doing so well. 👍

I own the Inception SZ, it is a really good reel, especially if you find it on sale. Really recommend!

I also have the SZ. It is a solid reel. I just bought a Shimano Curado DC. so I am excited to try that. I know it is not 13, but I am stoked about it getting here.
Hey nice vid. What's the difference from the origin A and the origin C? Wich one should I buy?

The A is mostly plastic frame and the C is aluminum.
Do you own any One 3 fishing products?
Hey man just wondering do you think that reel would work great on saltwater?

It is under the freshwater category on 13 fishing’s site so I don’t think it will do well. They do have an Orgin TX that cost about the same ($99) and it is made for saltwater.
