I had the pleasure to visit
Bishops Cuts/Color in Austin, Texas.
The local store manager welcomed me (almost literally) with open arms which made me feel very comfortable. Honestly it felt like coming home and it was my first time there!
I told her that I have a barberchannel on KZread and she couldn’t believe people would watch that kind of content. I convinced her there’s people out there who would watch anything, so she was thinking about recording herself cutting her toenails and upload that to KZread. Watch out for that!
The cute Ruth was willing to dye my beard and the sides of my hair and she did an amazing job! Every now and then, the manager looked around the corner asking if I was going to make her famous.

I dye my goatee. I don’t like gray hair either. A lot of people think it “ looks deep and interesting “ and a few grey hairs is not that bad but looking like Santa Claus is not attractive looking. I am 53 and dye my stuff too

I thought they were noisy too, but it gets less during the video. If you enjoy what it’s really about just turn down the volume a little and at some point you’ll forget they’re there 😉

I use “ Just for Men” on my goatee. I do it once a week. It literally takes about ten minutes. Stuff is really good

Not better but different. I think female barbers are a little more careful overall. I love being treated by a female barber. They usually have more eye for detail and don’t mind to take their time.
