ONCE IS ENOUGH / ONE TIME TOO MANY (Toby Keith, Steven Tyler, Willie Nelson LIVE 1/31/2004 Houston)

Музыка

"Once Is Enough/One Time Too Many" is a song by Aerosmith, co-written by Richard Supa and Steven Tyler in 1987, during the 'Permanent Vacations' sessions in Vancouver. Initially demoed, its early version was slower and leaked in the mid-1990s. The song morphed into a dual-section track, featuring an acoustic start and a rocking finish, and appeared as a B-side on the US 12" Vinyl for "Dude Looks Like A Lady." It later featured on the "Vacation Club" CD EP. Willie Nelson recorded the track under "One Time Too Many," released on his "Essential" album in 2003, involving sessions in Texas and earlier recordings in Vancouver. Nelson's version highlighted his unique style and persona, described by Tyler as embodying the "ambassador of good will and high times." The song was performed live at multiple significant events, including Nelson's 70th birthday celebration and Farm Aid 25, and this one on 1/31/2004 Houston, TX at the "Toby Keith' Shock'n Y'all Super Bowl Party", reflecting its enduring resonance within Americana and rock music: aerosmithbackburner.com/2024/...
