ONCE (From The Album DANCING ALONE)

This song is from an album I made a called DANCING ALONE, which consists of 14 songs inspired by the works of 12th and 13th century Persian Sufi poets. I never released the album until now because I didn’t think anybody would be interested in it. I made a few copies as gifts for friends, and then stuck it on a shelf where it has been sleeping for the last few years.
It is now available for download from all the major digital outlets (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, etc.)
The songs are based on works by four ancient poets: Rumi, Attar, Hafiz and Iraqi. These writers described the ecstasy of their spiritual experience using the metaphor of the lover and the beloved, which are universal images that we all understand.
Rumi wrote: “I used to be shy, but you made me sing.”

Anything you do is of interest to me. The more obscure the better. I would buy the hell out of an album of Sumerian songs.

I'd buy an album full of Sumerian songs too. There's lots of music about ancient Egypt, but not much about Sumer.
When this guy takes a shower, the neighbors lower the volumes and hurdle to press their ears to the wall

Even if you think there's no "market" for your work, release it, you'll never know. There's a bunch of people searching for music with ancient influences and ancient music in general.

That is an understatement - this music is true divinely inspired music - channeling of higher vibrations... what is played on the radio is mostly apeshit that is toxic to your whole being

I hope you are doing well, Peter. I am worried, because as of a few weeks ago, I noticed "Dancing Alone" isn't available on any platform anymore. I didn't have a chance to buy it, but I listened to it almost nonstop on Spotify, it helped me get through the past year. I truly hope everything is okay & that it becomes available again, because it holds a special place in my heart & I regret not buying it when it was first released. If you don't intend on putting it back on streaming platforms, I would love to buy it directly from you both digitally & physically, along with any other albums you may have available. I hope you see this; your music is beautiful & touching, I don't want it lost to time. Much love to you.

Of course you play the harp too. How are you not more popular? You are a musical savant and a genius. You deserve all the recognition the world could offer. Hell if I ever do get married I would love to see if I could get you down state side for a performance.
