On this “On the Hunt” episode continue mining a heavy truck wrecker for Junkyard Gold scoring the outer edges of the yard for undiscovered diamonds. This boneyard had an incredible amount of minty old iron that took me most of the day to walk. Some incredible finds and so many potential projects … old Generals, Kenworths, Fords, Freightliners, Macks and I even found some old cabover Peterbilts including a rare 352 big cab that deserves to be saved.
Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for all the comments, suggestions and support!

Boneyard walks are the best of your videos
Unbelievable how you take the time to slice the film clips into this episode. I don't want to think about the time this took. Very impressive!
I'd love to fix the 352 at the end. Paint still looks good on the cab. Man the blue interior is awesome too.
Really liked the paint scheme on the old Pete cabover at the end of your video. Thanks for the walk along!
The GMC General is a GREAT find!!!! 👍 👍 👍 👍
@Twinstick Garage that 352 Peterbilt extended cab over at the end is a beauty
Man! That 352! Imagine it coming down the assembly line brand new! Wow! Breaks my heart to see it like that
That blue Ford super duty cab over was called “the Knucklebuster” because you would smash your knuckles on the dash when using the forward gears in the pattern. Lol!
I love the General. The interior is so standard GM for the era. The dash looks like one in a square body pickup, and the power window switches look like those in the Buick that I had.
I'm behind on the videos I enjoy watching them I enjoy watching the passion that you. Have for the Old School Truck's you can't get enough that's awesome keep it up Love It keep on Trucking Brother God Bless
oh man I'd love to wander around that yard! those old cars really get me. I always want to save them all!

At 3:28 what year is that old blue ford cab over
I wish my life to be in this place and restore all the trucks of the previous era
When I was a kid there was an old truck from maybe the 20's that we used to play on. Solid rubber tires and wooden spokes. That was fifty something years ago and little by little I watched it turn into mulch. Shocking how quickly it can happen.
I would love to have that last Peterbilt and have it totally restored that would be so nice I love those old cobover trucks and I love them Peterbilt’s like that with the big sleepers!!
Gold everywhere !!! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and healthy 🇬🇧
My dad probably drove that old stross truck back in the day lol he use to work for Morris
The freightliner wheel cut outs mimic the emblem

@@TwinStix man.... I wish you get that white....and who put that that pink meteor on top of another car?
that corvette dash in that 359 would someone vary happy.
good hour dear friend, I want to tell you very informatively, although I don’t understand most of everything you’re talking about, you’re cool and you have golden hands, I wish you all the best blessings of the universe. I’m from russia, it was always clear to me that I’m not necessarily from this strange I will come as soon as the opportunity arises from everything I wish you happiness
You sure know your stuff. If I lived up there I would love giving u free labour on week ends as you seem to know so much. Just amazing
Those freightliner rims with the “different “ holes cut into them are the freightliner badge from the grill. Peterbilt did the same with the oval cut holes in their rims

Never realized that - thanks
Right on 🚚
That 362 at 19:48 sure brought back some memories. Started my career in a truck identical to that.
Merci de nous montrer tout ça tout ces camions on une histoire et beaucoup de milles
I could easily spend all day in these places
The wings on that cabover are kinda like sideburns . The 60 and 70s was full of sideburns and cabover often times the drivers had em haha . Love watching the junkyards videos twinstick
I drove them old 352's a bunch of miles. They were very nice trucks. You sure find some nice ones.
Very super cool
Nice video...every truck have a story...greetz from belgium 👍
Good stuff indeed. Saw that red Javelin in the beginning...man you never see those in boneyards anymore.
Excellent video
Loved the cassette tape comment!!
My favorite is the junkyard videos
I remember working on the old Peterbilt COE for Morris Stross . Man this brings back a lot of memories. We lost Morris a few years ago. Man he was quite the character. He had a shop next door to our shop. Miss the good old days. Thanks for sharing my friend. Keep the videos coming
I'm drooling all over the food my hubby made me. He thinks it's because he's a fantastic cook. It's all good... He is a good cook. But bacon, eggs and home fries for supper... With a side of Junkyard truck tours... Oh yeah baby!
Great Vídeo👏👏
I would love to spend my time walking around old trucks. That looks so fun.
THANKS again for taking us along ... always look forward to your videos !!!
That’s always fun watching you go through junkyards looking at old trucks. Thanks for sharing keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
this guy knows his trucks
I used to drive that old k100 plowing the winter road to the diamond mines!! Brings back some good old memories.
Muy, muy,muy bueno el vídeo amigo!! Saludos de Chile. 👍
Peterbilt seems to carry a lot of stuff over through years, the 579 I drive at work still has the same cup holder between the seats that the 2000 379 had, 2 cups, with a change tray between, a big 2 liter holder on the backside of it and a clip board slot on the drivers side.
A General would be awesome to have
Soo many cool rides from the 20s and 30s! Love historical vehicles!👍
I was expecting an 8 track player in the Peterbilt cabover at the end of the tour! Great video
I drove a guys General with an 8V92 Detroit and a 13-speed one time and it would pass anything on the highway but a fuel stop. About 3 mpg.on a good day. All in all the General wasn't a bad old truck.
Good afternoon Mark and Family Nice old trucks Take care and be safe out there my friend 🤠🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My favorite truck is a International transtar 7080A. 78-79 years
I've deleted my other channel and now have to start over again. But, this time I subbed right away. On a technicality, as Snowman (Jerry Reed) drove a Pete 359 in Smokey and the Bandit 3, which Little by Little could be Project Snowman also.
The last Pete at the end I'm digging the steps too. Another great video thanks
Tell you what, one of my favourite lines from smokey and the bandit, "Daddy, My hat flew off" "I Hope Your God Damn Head Was In It!" Honestly buford T Justice is probably my favourite police officer out of any truckers movie.
Good timing, just about a lunch time here in Ireland
I love seeing all these trucks!
Better than a walk through the park, on a Sunday afternoon. 😎 Those old cabover Pete’s with bigger cabs...Doublebunks! Oh yeah! 🤩 I’m a little partial to the Generals as well. I’ve never seen a Hayes up close, but they were cool looking. Are you gonna do a sweet cabover project next? You might need a Sasquatch rig to add to your collection. I haven’t been to a truck junkyard in some time...this is giving me that desire. Looking to find a Diamond REO cabover. Haven’t seen one in some time. Until next time...”Make the trip, but don’t forget to enjoy the ride!” 🥰😎
I’m envious of your junk yard wanderings
I love these junkyard walks
Boy did you find some nice old trucks sorry to see them there and not on the road but on the other hand still a great video
Nice video
Subscribed. Loving these on the hunt videos!
Nice to see cabovers, even if they are in a junk yard, i have 2x352h petes and a 74 normal 352 in the uk, could do with complete interior for the 74,
That general be good if that other one you found had the right door and the rest of the parts. Just need a bunk and you have your second snowman truck. Also another easy way to tell from a A and B cat, the air compressor has an adapter plate or spacer between the front cover and the compressor.
Lean out a little farther Lugs, I got to make a turn! Stroker Ace
I love these junkyard videos! Can’t wait to see the Kenworth get painted too!
Absolutely love the video inserts- It must take you hours to look for the right clip to edit in to these videos. These "On The Hunt" series of videos are awesome!!!
Really enjoy these relic hunts you go on.
If I had the money to bring an older diesel truck that I don’t have to pass a dot physical for I would make it my daily driver and a show truck. I am old enough I never get in a hurry or go too far so I could definitely enjoy a bigger truck that I don’t need a cdl to drive. I miss driving a big truck but they don’t want to let a diabetic with sleep apnea drive one for some reason. I love your junkyard tours
Jednoznačne Bomba ! Video zaslúžene oddychujú 👍👍👍👍👍
Lots of stuff there for sure and one of those times where you could spend money for days but have to hold your powder for those real finds. That Stross truck with the super sleeper was a huge thing back in the day, lots of room and they weren't cheap either. The old Gmc Generals will always be a classic just with the emblem design and their hasn't been anything like it since. That sucks about the Bear, those are one of a kind and someone knew it too bad they stole it, but you know out in a lot of the auto wrecker yards a lot of them arent really protected by anything so some guys will try and pilfer things rather than pay for them. Well I am sure it was sensory over load for you when you were there and the wheels were just turning. I love teh wrecker tour videos though, always neat to see what you somtimes dont see anymore
The Freightliners with the 4 square headlights were the same as Kenworth and Pete, as well. I put a complete headlight assembly from a Pete into my 88 Freightliner. ZERO modifications required. The last Pete COE had a party bunk on it.
Just love the adventures.. each episode is so cool.. what things will we find next?.. just love it..
I'm always looking forward to these videos
"No shit Junior". You forgot that. LOL
Smokey and the band 3 had a nice 359 Pete for ten seconds lol
Isn’t junk yardin fun almost as fun as dump pickin fun video thanks
The white Stross cabover looks like the cabover from the movie white line fever
Thanks a bunch for these great videos, love them old work horses, I wish I could start my collection, I like to fix up that old GMC General and make it look like the one that used to hold Knight Rider
🇧🇷👍 ótimo seus vídeos 🇱🇷👍
Another great vid, thanks! I must admit that I got a good solid chuckle out of the cassette tape comment! Heck, I had my music on 8-tracks when I was a kid!
Enjoy your channel. Keep it up the great editing of movie clips. Can’t wait to see project snowman continue. Has always been my dream truck.
Yes cab overs are very cool peterbuilt are my favorite maybe for tv show team BJ and bear has a nice cab over I believe it’s a kenworth
Cool stuff, love these junkyard videos! That Pete 352 was a '77-'81 if it's original parts. In '77 the door handles were moved to the lower part of the door and continued that way until production ended in '81. 362's started the paddle style door handles on the Pete cabovers, also changed to bulkhead style doors instead of the squared off corners.
I love how you put movit scenes in there that fit the situation
Early 362s had the single piece front windshield with the 3 windshield wipers. All the air pressure pushing on that one piece of glass created some cracking issues, so on later 362s they went back to the two-piece front glass. Oh, and there was no need for a 362H - they were built bigger than even the 352Hs to begin with.
Haha it's great to see you going through all these old trucks I used to drive. But it does make me realize I am older than I think. LOL
When I look at these trucks I can't help but think of each vehicle when it was brand new and just delivered. How the driver would have felt being given the new truck in the fleet, or the owner operator with his new truck that he specced up himself. Running hands over the wheel, surveying his new workplace, thinking where he'll store all his stuff from his old truck. With the cars I think of the first owner driving their beautiful new car off the dealer's lot, fiddling with all the switches and feeling what it pulls like. The salesman's word ringing in their ears "don't lug it and don't over rev it while you're running it in!" Shame to see the state they end up in, all their secrets with them.
Its a very good thing that I am too old to mess with that stuff anymore as I would pick me a runner and find the exact trans, rear ends on desired suspension ..... yada yada, go from one rig to another and before I knew it have about five of them going back together. I know the interiors have to be marginal at best but me, I know no better so it would come back with the proper cleaning and what not.... If I had that kind of money, there would be a full crew working three shifts just putting them right again. I am 73 and have driven so many different makes over those years... I forgot the no., of what was what and what years. My brother would not let me in his and then when he got older and knew he couldn't do anything with trucks on his place taking up about forty acres, he called a salvage company, they came, they smashed, then hauled them out on semi trucks. I never spoke to him over that for a while. Surely someone watching your channel will find you and salvage some of that stuff. Please find it is ringing in my heart.
Awsome video I really like the buttons you took will look good on old Pete thumbs up and shared
The 352 was a 1979 . Stross Management was a produce hauler. Running south with the old school crew. Sunrise, Lorrie Management, Twilight, Edson Freightlines, Henning, Phantom Freightlines. Canadian Chicken trucks with 8-holers, 85 mph ' cross the desert between Vegas and Hollister. The glory days of Trucking.
What's he want for the 352? Last time I was in a bone yard like that was out in Montana when I was a kid. Ah memories.
i had a 78 freghtliner cab over that i ran up to 2001 good ol truck.
That 359 pete is a severe service cab note the wide strip between the front window & it has the front pull plate , don't see that to often.
Cool video, I live in Hawaii we have lots of trucks but no truck junk yards. Thanks for the tour Aloha🤙🏼
You should see how solid the old iron is out west! ESP the Hayes trucks out here I can get ya a Bear bud👍🏻🇨🇦Heck there is a few 12V92 Powered Hayes still hauling logs out here!
You need to come to North Carolina show you some working cab overs and some reo’s
Great video my friend, cool old trucks
Great video!
Like your shop keep the show going
I love these junkyard search videos! I’m hoping to go to a truck yard before winter hits
I need a set of Truck horns for my Blazer... lol
