On the Front Lines with the Taliban | Fault Lines

In this episode of Fault Lines, we gain unprecedented access to report from the Taliban stronghold of Charkh District, just an hour outside the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Reporter Nagieb Khaja follows Taliban fighters as they launch an attack on an Afghan National Army (ANA) base, and investigates what the ANA are up against as foreign troops continue to withdraw.
Khaja follows a dawn raid as the Taliban pound the ANA base with rockets and machine guns, and he witnesses suicide attackers attempt to enter through the main gates. ISAF planes circle overhead, and Khaja is concerned that they will engage. He watches the Taliban deal with losing men and interviews a local Talib about what he does when he is not engaged in warfare.
Fault Lines also interviews Jack Keane, a retired US four-star general, and Kurt Volker, the former US ambassador to NATO (2008 to 2009), to get their analysis on the battle and what the future holds for Afghanistan.
On the Front Lines with the Taliban gives a rare look into the internal workings of the Taliban and illustrates some of the issues facing the Afghan National Army as the US withdraws its troops in 2014.

@Lone Wolf since 2001 nato did not even manage to find an ounce of pakistans physical support to taliban. If pakistan really provided physical support to taliban why would they allow Nato supplies to travel through Pakistan, since Afghanistan has no port, Pakistan could have simply refused any assistance to those fighting against taliban

the afghan taliban and pakistani taliban hardly have any difference between them and they share almost everything including hiding spots and some of them are even relatives. Pakistan has ripped pakistani taliban to shreds and has lost an extremely large amount of lives in the fight against them, now you tell me how on earth is it possible for Pakistan to physically support afghan taliban since 2001 and nato still has no physical evidence to prove this ?

To warn that Taliban terrorists were about to launch an attack on ANA soldiers. ....or at very least showed ANY sign he felt uncomfortable being in full knowledge of the premeditated mass murder about to take place. Anyway, I guess the reason only Al-Jazeera ever get the calls from the likes of Taliban,Al-Qaeda, ISIS etc the terrorists know they can trust a news outlet funded by one of the world's largest terrorism funders -Qatar, that & the knowledge they're dealing with sympathiser "reporters".
