I feel like he stole some of those pics. Keep in mind niggas sell pics in the joint too b4 they are released they sell all the females pics they collected and were mailed ova time. They can't bring it back to their "main woman's" house so they get rid of them. Things get left behind and lost when inmates transfer from prison to prison without much notice or not being allowed to bring things to the next facility.

Earlier in this documentary Antonio spoke on sleeping with men in prison (without condoms because they aren't provided) for safety and protection. We also know that rape occurs in prison as well. He also explained that there have been many men while he was in prison (while he went through a stack of pictures) many of whom profess their love on the back of those photos. He discusses running into one of these gentleman except he was with his wife and children and they act as if they had no sexual relationships. Are any of these men honest with their girlfriends and wives when they get out? This is why when you donate blood they asked if you have been locked up for more than 72 hours? Is it more likely to contract HIV as you are in these living conditions for an extended period of time?

Well done documentary. I always wonder how these folks handle life after something like this airs. I went to school w/ the one guy...really shocked to see his face but I know he's doing good things in life; he recently released a book.

I enjoyed this short film. I'm a Trans woman and I have never felt the need to hide my identity at all. I've always put my trust in JESUS. He made the way for me to be successful, hard working, and educated. I went to college as a Trans woman, and also entered the work force as one. Yes I was in the art world, which is more excepting of the gay community at large. I've dated down low men, it's hard with this type of male. I believe their low self esteem is the main issue. They claim I'm out there, too much. That isn't true at all I'm very reserved and GOD fearing. I've change the perception of most men who have dated me. Good luck guys with your lives, I hope you find peace and prosperity.

I really think was a great documentary because it gives people who are interested in knowing WITHOUT judging a further understanding of what it means to be on the DL. For some women it makes them a bit more cautious of who they are with but for the most part it makes people more understanding and accepting to men who have a hard time coming out. Personally I have nothing against gay men or lesbians and it sucks they have to be DL for acceptance reasons. Thanks for putting this up !!

The inflation in our prison population. Men and women are turning to the same sex while incarcerated because of emotional and sexual needs that we as humans naturally have. They even fall in love with each other. Two words- "conjugal visits"

The more Proud I've become... about all of me, the more awkward I feel about tokenizing it to be DL. I remember my first Gay Pride parade: NYC 1995. I lied to my Aunt (then in Jamaica, Queens) about where I was going. Then I immediately told the truth. She suggested therapy and Jesus. I told her therapy and Jesus helped me find courage to go. . I suppose many have to start somewhere... How can you teach and instill integrity yet want people to be dishonest.

although this doc is yrs old - I'm still going to comment.. out of all the men featured it seems that Billy and Kerwin had it together the most and the most conflicted might be Ray, but overall the most perplexing and 'dirty' one is Antonio - he seemed to get a joy out of sleeping with all these men that had female partners and how he responded when his young friend told the girl he was guy - he laughed and had a smirk - being the senior one out of the group, he should have offered support and been mature enough to say hey, let's not tell her at a gay club - and what happened to the young dude - seems like Antonio moved on quick.
