On Nut Sukhumvit Soi 77, Where All Your Friends may Live

Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

I live at the Base Park West which is next to the Habito Mall and is a great location. Its easy access to On Nut and also Phra Khaonon. Crossing the road can be daunting but I soon got used to it but you do have to be careful.

Yes it's a very popular building. The road is fine for 95% of people. Just pointing out every little thing I know about the area

Thanks for the videos...very interesting and informative. I'm looking to move full time to Thailand in 3-4 years and was wondering how daily life is like living in places such as On Nut, Phrom Phong and Ekkamai, in terms of interactions with neighbours and locals, noise and crowds and keeping busy. I can imagine there's plenty to do on a weekly basis such as exploring, learning Thai, activities, meeting people, gym, shopping malls, relaxing etc?

You picked three of my favorite spots. Yes, there will be plenty to do. Plus, you can travel to dozens of spots in less than a few hours. Thanks for watching, more to come

from one CA. native to another, we're lucky to have found Thailand due to their absolute tolerant nature of the Buddhist following! Just try to be low key and humble and you'll be fine. Cheers! ron:)

Yes, compared to many places in the world, it's a great deal. You can find a cheaper place, a few train stops farther. It just depends on how often you go to the center of town

Thanks for the video. The lack of road crossing would be a deal breaker for me. I do worry about the did getting hurt if they also wander into the roads

I hear ya. I'm lucky on the Knightsbridge side to not have to deal with crossing Soi 77. It can get a little crazy

That's funny. But, ya the traffic can be crazy. As mellow as the Thai folks are, you get them behind the wheel and you better get out of the way.

I love Thailand. I'll be here a good long time. Mexico is great, but I've spent so much time in Baja. Too me, it just feels like a suburb of San Diego. Bangkok surprises me almost every day. I really enjoy living here.
