That is a seriously adorable kid. Officer Paul might as well be called Uncle Paul, because he is clearly family.

She’s a happy little kid and her laugh just make you smile.

The most precious thing two people can have is a "child". Goats have "kids". Maybe you have to be a grandparent to know and appreciate the difference.
Kudos to LT. Stricker and the nurse, who saved the little girls life.
Good job, Lt. I'm a former deputy sheriff and I say that I would rather be on that incident than deal with a criminal any day of the week. So satisfying.
As a truck driver I approve all of this. Outstanding trooper right there. Have happy life young lady

What difference does it make if you're a truck driver? Are you saying you guys don't like cops or saying that truck drivers usually break the law? I'm just curious.

Let's not forget about the nurse!
That little snort when she laughs made my day
Who has dry eyes? Not me! I snort when I laugh too. Children are a special blessing.

Officer Stricker and Nurse Marsh, I admire your heroism! God bless you and your families, as well as Elise and her family!
She has a special friend forever. Mom and Dad have to be so grateful. Love her necklace.

Jazz5132, yup, for sure! But you miscounted just a little? She actually has TWO (2) "Special Friends" forever; you didn't include that absolutely AWESOME Lady Angel "Nurse Marsh." Trooper Stricker + Nurse Marsh = LIFELONG Child-Angels for sure!
SHE WAS TRULY BORN TO GIGGLE & SMILE. WHAT A JOY.
What a beautiful little soul. This has me, a 61 year old Brit, in tears, but happy ones. So glad the state trooper and nurse were there on the road as, perhaps, fate always intended.
Her little snort is so cute
This is such a beautiful and touching story. Two true heroes.
She is definitely a gift!
This brought tears of joy. What a wonderful family and a State Police Officer that is a Hero along with the nurse that assisted him of saving the beautiful little girl's life. Then to come back and escort her to school I am sure with the lights and siren blaring as they approach the school!!! I am a retired law enforcement officer, but my time for something was back in 1979 when our flight chief informed our flight that his 7 year old son was dying!!! WE asked him what his would want before he goes to meet Jesus, he said a color console television. From our commander, other officers and non commissioned officers and airmen collected the money, went to downtown Spokane and bought a 25 inch color TV console and delivered it to his room in the hospital, not a dry eye, I get emotional remembering it!!! The trooper handled it very well!!!

You should look at the statement in the context of the original speech.. He certainly was singling out the R.A.F. History shouldn't be liberally interpreted.
Thanks to the trooper. You helped to keep this smiling little girl around. The world cannot afford to loose the smile.
My hat goes off to these officers and nurses it takes a strong heart to be under those pressures and situations i support all law enforcement and medical experts
No one will ever bother that little girl .She is in good hands.👮♂️❤️

shes definately a happy angel
This is one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever heard!!!!! People coming to the rescue are true heroes
That child is very fortunate, and as sweet as sugar!
I've bookmarked this video so I can watch it whenever I've had a crappy day. It never fails to revive my spirits.
How can that little girls smile and happiness not make you smile. What an angel.
That’s what life is meant to be….loving one another and helping one another. There’s no greater joy ❤
what a happy little girl! Hope school was fun for you.
She and her family are adorable. The nurse and state trooper are awesome. Thank you.
Can we just have a news channel that just plays wholesome stories like this?🥹😆 She says Paul like Pal awwwe!
Thank you Boyd & Chad, another heartwarming story well told.
GOD BLESS BOTH THE POLICE OFFICER AND THE NURSE FOR SAVING THE PRECIOUS LITTLE ANGEL🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲👏👏👏👏👏👏🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍👍🤗👍
What a sweet child.
OMG! So cute. She snorts when she laughs, truly a happy child. Thank you to the 2 special people that made all this happen.
As a father of an 8 month old daughter, this brings me to tears. God bless
Oh my gosh! How precious is that?! It made me cry. Lt. Paul Stricker, that sweet little girl will remember you for the rest of her life. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear a badge. 💖
What an amazing young girl!
What a sweetie ❤
We need more people like this State Trooper. Stay positive from California Dawn❤
Literally restores your faith in humanity!!!
A beautiful little girl with two amazing guardian angles on that critical day and moment.
May we all be as happy as Elise
What a beautiful, joyous little girl...her laughter is a heartmelt. Thank you Officer for helping to save her.
Thank You Trooper Lt Stricker for your Heroism and Compassion on that fateful day and for the Nurse who was driving to work on the Highway and stopped to offer her assistance as an Angel with a life saving mission 💓💓💙👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 God Bless you both
Stories like this make you believe that there are people who do not disappoint you in life & do the right thing. This was one of those stories that make believe that there is good in this crazy world
The best in law enforcement and nursing. May God bless all. 🙏🙏🕯️🕯️
Way to go officer (Lt) and Nurse. You are the ones that really protect and are heroes in the country. I am sure Elise will also become a hero one day. We need more like you and you are what makes us worthy as a species.
What a happy little girl! So giggly and bubbly. The trooper and nurse who stopped to help are hero's of the day.
She’s absolutely beautiful! Praying for her best life! Sometimes angels arrive just in time.
We need more videos like this to show America what a blessing law enforcement can be in our lives. They literally risk their own safety for us every day. I can't even imagine how difficult this life must be for their families.
Oh no my eyes are leaking. My heart is full of joy for this wee bubbly child and for the people that made this young girls life continue. May long it last.
Our LEO's never get enough credit. God bless this man and protect him.
What a beautiful and uplifting story! We need more of these kinds of stories in our newscasts!
Absolutely a very touching story! This restores are faith in humanity!!!
Very touching story! Thanks to all who came to support this young lady on her first day of kindergarten!
What a great story with the best outcome possible. The lovely little lady survived because of her Mom & a great state Trooper.
God bless Paul & the Nurse
Thanks to all for this, very heartwarming. I hope Elise lives a very happy, healthy, long life full of love.
You have maid my day. Praise God for this incredible story and Gods intervention. God bless our law enforcement officers. God bless our nurses and doctors. We need to keep them ALL LIFTED UP IN PRAYER.
A very emotional and heart moving video to see the little angel being escorted to KG by the state trooper who helped save her life.
What a little ham she is! My hope for you, Elise, is to never lose that spunk and silliness, those attributes will help tremendously on your path through life ❤
that baby is such a light !
Beyond heartwarming.
What a little ray of sunshine.
Now there is two angels sent down from heaven and gave this little girl each one wing to give her,her own wings to use when it’s time. Thank you too all that were involved.
Thank God for men and women in uniform who dedicate their lives to help us.
There are indeed angels among us!
Beautiful. What a happy girl.
That laugh is contagious as I couldn't help doing both at the same time... cry and laugh.
I was born in Minnesota and lived there for 9 years when my parents moved to another state. But I still remember as a child how cool I thought the troopers purple patrol cars and uniforms were. I mean most if not all state troopers uniforms are blue but purple? I thought that was so cool and still do. There will always be a place in my heart for Minnesota my birth state and whenever I go back to visit (and go fishing) I always look for those purple Minnesota state trooper patrol cars on the highways and so happy when I see one.
Ugh, ya got me all misty-eyed!! lol! Too, too cute! And those two miracles workers who saved her life, fantastic!! ... ... ... The best story I'll hear today!!
why can't we hear more of THESE hero's? i'm so tired of seeing shootings and ugly murder. this is very beautiful
What a beautiful story and a beautiful family....God bless you trooper for all you do..
Oh wow, what a wee smasher she is - and THAT giggle/laugh is soooooo wonderful !
God .... do we ever need more beautiful stories like this ... in days to come. Thank you all who saved this spectacularly beautiful child!!!! With extreme hope that she continues to experience her life in a joyous and happy world.
These are the stories we all need to see! Happy child, grateful parents. 💕🇺🇸💕
Someday this little angel will grow up and leave a wake of destroyed men in her path. They are so cute...when they are babies.

Heart2HeartBooks, to embellish just a lil bit on your comment; yes indeed, She is a beautiful & happy lil Child, & I'm sure with Her Parents bringing Her up so well? When She be growing up & into Her teens, there WILL be a few Boys with "broken-hearts" for sure, BUT! I would guess She'd do Her absolute best to NOT hurt (too much) these boys' feelings either (< read "empathy for others" resulting from very good Parenting!)

This is so beautiful! Tears are streaming right here,
Elise is precious. Her laugh is priceless .It's so sweet the officer keeps in touch. She will never forget her first day❤❤
There are good people out there
Tears of Joy! Thanks to ALL who had a role in this day. YOU GO GIRL 💪💪💪!
Paul, You are a good Man and an absolute credit to Your uniform.
What a heart touching story.
Great rescue story and I just love that Lt. Stricker gave her that letter and signed it as her guardian and made her that necklace and special thanks to that nurse as well.
There is good in this world. This example of humanity needs to spread over the world.
The news needs more stories like this
It's the little snort that goes with the laugh. Killer.
There is no greater virtue than to save a life. Nurse, cop, plumber, it doesn't matter. Will this story be run on network news?
I could listen to her giggle all day. What a cutie.
Good job trooper Paul . what a cute little one
This was the best and she is the cutest .Good luck sweetie ❤
The state trooper was amazing. The nurse also.
The thing with that _"special badge"_ is so sweet...😍 ...and look at the face of this nice officer: Happiness all around. 🤩 I´m sure this little sweetheart was *very* proud to be escorted by "her" police officer on her 1st day. 🤗 And I´m sure this will probably be one of the best moments in his police career or even the best of all. 👍
What a cutie!! We are blessed that she is with us spreading that little contagious smile!!
This brought a tear to my eyes in a very good way. ❤
Adorable. 😊
Great story.........great human beings ! Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
In this day and age, stories like these touch the heart and rekindle hope in humanity. She is such a little bundle of joy and love.
I really needed that story today. My sweet B ella Dog died yesterday. Thanks for this story. That Officer is so explemory of all the officers who protect us. They do not get the respect they need.
