A word of advice. When setting up a model need to be in Servo Center and mode in the FPO unit the level and all of that is useless for the Servo set up procedure. You need to set your servo is 90° and then sub trim them out in the actual Servo Center in menu once you are done with that you can then move on to leveling your swash plate by adjusting the linkages from the servo arm to swash plate, and then go from the swash plate to the head with the turnbuckles. Then you will have a perfectly true zero pitch at mid stick and use a pitch gauge to set zero. Watch my set up videos to understand how to properly set up a helicopter.

I started this build video when it first came out, and just had the time to finish. Dude, like you said "you have to begin somewhere". We all were there, and I commend you for having the courage, patience, and knucklehead of a "true" Heli pilot!

Also never ever use Sub trim or trim in the radio. Always! Go into servo centering mode in the FBL and set your servos 90.

Mikado makes a really nice little antenna support for the boom that will split your antenna at 45° . You can get the mounts so they mount to a curve for cylinder/boom or flat mount for those of us with a

You are a genius that is such a complicated build. Wow I'm a newbie to building helis but I think if your going to fly them you need to know how to build cause when you crash you will need to know how to fix it. I also love your transmitter programming videos truly the best easy to follow. Do you have a video on a Trex 450 se transmitter set up ? would love it if you could. Thanks.

If you lay the torpedo level on its side, you can then level left to right and front and back.

Good idea going with a time-lapse of the build. My question: what was the frame rate, or exposures per minute of the time lapse? It was very watchable.

Brian you just have to adjust the turnbuckle on the pitch link to get zero at mid stik .

Great video, i'm using a iX 12, on my M4 didn't get tail hold, just span arround on take, simular to yours, my tail dosen't go back to center when you turn left or right, the H1 is easier to setup, could you recomend a different Flight Controleer s. Thanks Shaun
