Sometimes when a cover is registered in youtube's systems it sometimes accidentally detects songs by cover videos. It could be done on purpose to try and skim monetization, but also very possible that they automatically register all their works with their publisher (interstreet recordings) and didn't realize this would happen. In situations like this you can just dispute it and state to youtube that you're not using their music & they're not the original rights holder and the claim will be removed fairly quickly. EDIT: After writing that one of my vids got claimed too LOL, I'm pretty sure it didn't get put in the system before now, and is just slowly automatically claiming all videos it detects. Part of it is KZread's fault EDIT 2: Both Disputes have now quietly disappeared. Normally I get an e-mail when the claim has been released, but weirdly enough I didn't get it this time.

Did you get it solved? I am in a bad situation myself since it is a 15 hour walkthrough and unfortunately cannot be muted, because the video is too long.

@@Kari-Pekka Not yet, they might not work weekends. They might also wait out the entire 30-day period, in which case I win the dispute automatically. I got another one after that that I also disputed.

@@Kari-Pekka The claim has now been released, but it happened silently. It's possible this means it wasn't the claimant's doing, but that they somehow got kicked off youtube's systems. That's pure speculation though.

It’s so weird that it says “Final Duet” instead of “Duet” because the real ost literally NEVER had “Final” in front of it, I think the creators would know. So there’s a possibility not even the creators made that.

Definitely not omocat or Silva. They've already made major bank from this game. They wouldn't be screwing over fans who are practically advertising their game for a few bucks.

Maybe KZread just came across it, and thought that the song is probably copyrighted? It might be an sig that happened similarly to Coryxkenshins video he made which got claimed for no reason but everyone else who made the same video was not. ( but that might be because of KZread being racial towards him )I’m not even sure how copyrighting works, but it’s kind of worrying for the whole OMORI soundtrack when KZread just outta nowhere copyrights the most important song in the entire game -_-
