I love that you’ve been putting our frequent videos again Paul! I’ve always really enjoyed watching them. Would love to see a Peter again too. I think when it said keep the paper on it was meant keep it on while you are unrolling it but before cooking you take it off. That could of prevented the dough from rising a bit but I thought the pizza looked absolutely lovely, I’ve always liked crispy pizza. Hope you start feeling better and that darn Covid goes away and stays away!

Hoping you feel better soon! Can't imagine cooking a new recipe without being able to smell the progress.Not sure that pizza dough worked as intended. I am eager to see you use the Omnia/Trangia combination again. The instructions for my oven say preheat just the steel plate before setting the aluminum pan on it, but like you I don't always read instructions or follow them. One thing I hope to try is baking potatoes on the rack, perhaps cut in half the long way and brushed with oil. You have me buying Trangia and the Omnia for outdoor 'picnic table' cooking. Keep up the good work and thank you for all your videos from USA.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I am going to use the Omnia more in the future. I really want to get a good pizza out of it. I have an idea to create my own pizza shelf in it.

Looked nicely done to me, like a crisp bottom. Hole in the middle is perfect for dropping some salad into. Might be better without silicone liner for pizza though and a bit of preheating. Perhaps your lack of smelling the pizza is because of the COVID you have had.

That got me hungry! So I invented something that turned out delicious... Yorkshire pudding pizzas. I recommend trying them. .. frozen Yorkshire pudding, pizza sauce, cheese. Cooked mine in air fryer for 4 mins, but reckon they could be made in your pot thing.

I just watched a you tube by Dickin Around , he experimented and found that using a normal kitchen item called aflame tamer under the omnia oven made it work better, and less burning of food, hope this helps .

I prefer to use gas with the Omnia. It has a lot more control. Thanks for the comment.

I Liked the demonstration of making and cooking a pizza in the omni oven especially when you feel unwell but I think its too much work for not enough gain. I preferred you making little pizzas on small bread rolls (like the old french bread pizzas from my childhood) that you did a while ago was better and less work involved, like your good self, I'm a " quantity " type guy too ! crappy weather doesn't help either but hope you get better soon, cheers Paul

Sympathies, Paul, I've completely lost my sense of smell and it drives me crazy when I'm trying to cook... or even just trying to decide if somethings gone bad in the fridge. I can taste things, but nothing tastes like it used to. And I supposedly didn't have Covid. 😂 Still feel punk after months.
