I don’t think I’ve seen Bruce get a watch out of a box and in his hand so quickly! Lol I really like the dial symmetry and design, and the movement looks amazing through the case back. Great production as always, thanks.

Wow, I didn’t even know this variation existed, but it’s beautiful! The lume on the bezel is awesome! The Planet Ocean was the first luxury watch that I remember being smitten with back in 2006 when I was in high school and just getting into watches. When I was finally able to afford one, I ended up going with a Black Bay instead, then got a ceramic Sub, but part of me wonders if I should try a Planet Ocean sometime after all.

I just got back from my AD - I was set on getting the Blue PO, even had him put it away with his last hesalite Speedmaster before they closed down back in March. I tried this one on- partially from your video - and fell in love. My blue Seamaster Wave has a new brother lol. I really wouldn’t have thought about this, but everything just works on this watch!

That white dial is amazing! My 600 is arriving tomorrow, but it's blue. Got a great deal from AAFES.

I saw this one at my AD. It immediately caught my eye. It looks so good in person.

LOVE the Planet Ocean! I own a 42mm blue titanium version and it is simply amazing. Nothing against Rolex - they make a great product. But Omega just looks better and crushes them technologically. Plus, in a day where it seems that everyone has a Submariner (o.k., not really...but you get my point) it’s nice to see a refreshing Omega!

Congrats on your blue TI version! I would say the PO easily holds its own and then some when you compare it to the Submariner. Unlike the Sub these are easy to source and there are more color and size options available. Win for Omega

Hi Bruce beautiful Watch Congratulations!!! you can’t go wrong with Omega you get so much for your money, I personally owned a Planet Ocean Michael Phelps 45mm and a Seamaster 300M 42MM both Master Chronometer, one of the things that I love more on this watches is the Ceramic White dial really pops !!!! That white dial looks awesome. I own 2 Planet Oceans, a cal 2500 and a Pyeongchang, that i have not wear in a while. After seeing this video, i think i am going to take them out of the box for a spin.

Woohoo! The Planet Ocean -- my all-time favorite dive watch. This Limited Edition white/orange variant is certainly a looker! My experience with white dial watches is that the brightly polished hands often tend to blend into the background of the dial, making legibility less than optimal. Omega did a very nice job in providing black hands and indices on the new Seamaster Diver 300 M with white dial. But the Planet Ocean has captured my heart -- probably forever. I don't feel that I need to ever buy another diver watch again as I've reached my personal mountain top.

9:00 FACTS.This thing sang to me at the AD and I had always dismissed it in pictures.

Been waiting for my AD to receive this one. Saw it in Biel/Bienne at the Omega Museum. My next.

Almost a month of ownership. Best looking Planet Ocean to date!

Another hit from Omega. About 15 years ago I remember wanting the orange aluminum planet ocean, but I was a broke teenager and there was no chance. The orange ceramic looks next level. I do wonder what it would look like if they tried the orange ceramic bezel with a black dial, similar to before.

As soon as they make the planet ocean in a white and blue combo it will find its way into my possession.

I’m in the market for a Seamaster, but have not made my choice of dial colors. This video has caused me to check out this Planet Ocean in this color scheme, and I like it. It could well be the one. The white dial and burnt orange bezel are the colors of my beloved Texas Longhorns.

The Lume shot just blow me away.

This is a stunner. Agree it has a real summery feel. Next to the Hulk and the Seamaster diver i'm just like 'want, want, want, want,' need a third wrist!!

Thank you for another excellent review! Honestly, I must say that bezel looks red to my eye indoors. The outside bezel image looks orange, but still has a lot of red blended in. When I think of orange, I picture the dial color of the Seiko Nemo Turtle.

That Planet Ocean is sharp. Just bought the new Seamaster in white from Nick, due in hopefully this week.

As always, great review. I have been salivating on the Diver 300M Pro. I do love this watch's look much better than the diver BUT 43.5 is just a bit much for my wrist. Love the lume shot! I need to figure out how to get this without my wife killing me :)

@@orangeruffian Well, I'm usually more into sports-watches, same as Bruce. But this time I wanted to buy something a bit more formal around 7-9000 bucks. So I made my research and in the end came up with the blue Globmaster and the Rhodium (silver) dial Dayjust with flat bezel. In the end I showed the 2 watches to my wife and she said that the Dayjust looked like a watch for old men. I bursted out in laughter and the final decision was clear....

I have a 2022 Seamaster 300m white dial. I'm so tempted to get this exact Planet Ocean too just because it's stunning. And to think I can have them.both for the price of one Submariner it's a no brainer 🤷‍♂️

Thanks again for those nice macro shots. As long as you have a hook with omega I would love to see a full review of the Aqua Terra. The Aqua Terra seems like a perfect middle of the road sports watch for me, but I am 3 hours from the nearest dealer and would love you opinion and macro shots of that watch.

Omega really care. The things they make are solid. The rotors in their watches are somewhat audible but it’s not a bad thing. Highly recommend when you get over Rolex or want to skip the hype.

I have the Hulk as well, as you know, and I also like that orange Seamaster a lot.. It will be a tough choice between that one and the Oreo Planet Ocean GMT.

Completely agree about the jump hour vs quick set date. I'd give up quick set for jump hours any day And that seconds hand is insanely good!

I’m kind of bummed after this. I just bought this watch but with the black dial and bezel. My bezel does not glow like this one. This is very cool. Other than that difference I really love this watch. I’m looking forward to your full review.

Just a little correction on my spelling. In my micro-brand comment , I was referring to the brand Maen . Consistently sold out on delivery. Specifically the Hudson model. Also , if you're looking for different watches , hit me up . If I don't have what your looking for I probably have a friend that does . One last thing . I haven't seen it reviewed yet , but I just ordered a watch from Atelier Millesime , model :Monarque Haute Azure , last word referring to dial color . Really beautiful peice worth reviewing.

Just got the 43.5 PO 8900 with Burnt Orange Ceramic bezel. Oh my! Absolutely amazing.

Love this watch. I saw your comparison or the BB GMT in a different video. Does this monster of a case really wear smaller than the BB GMT? That is my daily wearer and if the orange PO really does pull off that bit of magic I’ll be visiting my AD. I’ve got an 8.5” wrist but am concerned about the thickness and weight. Love the video keep up the great work

Hi Bruce I have a blue ceramic 600 planet ocean watch which I bought in 2017 which I love at the time omega hadn't brought out the white dial vision if they had i probably would of brought one.

Might be most fav omega. No corner cutting at all.

Beautiful dial. The orange or red bezel pops. But is the case too thick? And the case size at 43mm seems so big. I personally prefer 39mm-40mm. Do you know if Omega makes this one in that size? Otherwise, I like it a lot. Just realized that you said Omega does make it in a 39mm size. Great!

Still loving my 42mm Planet Ocean 2500 on bracelet, matte black dial/black bezel with white numerals, it's a classic beauty 👌 pure Omega.

Its about as perfect as it gets. Every watch I film you can usually find at least one little issue not visible to the naked eye

Got a 45.5mm chronograph Planet ocean. I’m a big bloke so i can wear one without looking like I’ve got a saucepan on my wrist! Destroys the Deepsea! O M E G A all the way!! 🕶✌🏻

Tried one on a few months ago. I have very small wrists so was worried it would like oversized however I found it fitted my wrist really nicely

In this video watch movement shown is 8500 but, in comentry we heard 8900. I guess one of this thing should be corrected. Without a doubt great bright colors Omega is beautiful watch. Enjoy your watch collection.

I'd like to see the date moved to the 12 position and given a frame. The colours are so vibrant that the unbalanced numerals stand out more than usual on this. Great looking watch though.

When I was at my AD, the white and red PO stuck out to me the most on the PO side. It would prob be the only white dial watch I would consider 👍

That is a beautiful watch! I reached out to you last week for some guidance and wanted to post a quick update - I went to a local AD to look at the 300M. I also wanted to compare the Planet Ocean to the Deepsea. I decided the Planet Ocean was much more wearable to me, then decided I really liked the blue because it was asking me to take it home... And that's pretty much what happened. Thanks! Frankly, I preferred the Planet Ocean due to the quick set on the hour hand (I do a lot of air travel), but thought it would be too big to wear. I was happy to find it was a nice fit.

I have this watch. The only issue you I have is with design in regards to date window. Its way too small to the point of being irrelevant. An oculus would be nice over the date window, increase the size of the date window and date to be user friendly or eliminate altogether. This is a tool watch. If the feature is on the watch it should be easy to use or read. The LUME on this watch is Awesome. One of the favorites in my collection.
