In this video, I will restore one of my favorite watches, a vintage 1970s Omega. Omega Cal.1330 is a popular quartz movement in the era, but I haven't seen any KZread restoration videos ever. Hope this video helps other watchmaking hobbyists.
As a hobby, I have repaired over 50 watches over the past two years. This is the first watch I "restored" two years ago, but I only replaced a dead battery with a new one at that time. Recently, I noticed the battery didn't last for a year. It will be a good time to give a deep cleaning and fresh oil to the movement.
