Girl, you are a GODSEND with this video. I was seeing braiders on Insta who were doing goddess braids with 100% human hair. I was shocked and jealous because I never knew it was possible (especially since human hair's expensive and I've only been braiding my hair with synthetic hair since quarantine). Once I saw this video and I remembered the Indian hair I still had in bundles, I was singing Amazing Grace all week. I just cut off the wefts and I was literally able to get the boho braids look you had at the start of the video. I'm half way up my head doing them and yeah some parts are tedious, but I'm LOVING the results so far. Can't wait till I finish! Edit: I did finish them!! Even though it took me about 4 or so days, it lasted me 3 MONTHS! Twice as long as if I had synthetic hair in my hair and it looked SO GOOD! And you were right, human hair is SUPER light-weight and probably why it lasted me so long and SO PRETTY. Once again, thank you THANK YOU for this video. I've never felt so pretty in my braids! 😄

$500 is a lot for real hair period, but even more so when you can’t reuse it. To save money and up cycle, I will cut the hair from my used tracks for this type of style, once I have gotten major usage out of them.

This is what my soul has been wanting. I don't feel comfortable wearing wigs anymore. This is a more natural effect. Did she say "15" packs of the kinky bulk? This is the best video for locs period. Lovely young lady!

I love this look and I love the fact that it human hair. ❤❤❤❤ The only thing that would make it better is the afro textured hair needs to be longer so you don't have to wrap so many pieces.

Iv been learning alot about working with ethnic hair. We really didnt learn much about it in cosmotology school and it's so interesting all the different types and textures and styles.
