Heaven sent bc I literally was planning on doing these for my trip in a week! Done exactly how I imagined

I will say for what I do to cut down time and make things easier, I only braid the hair 10x or so (about an inch and some from the root) and then I just add the hair that’s gonna be the base at the top of the braid and I add the wrapping hair at the root or above the base hair and then wrap down. The base hair is usually how long I want the loc to be if they don’t want hair at the ends. If they want hair at the ends, I add that hair towards the end or I crochet that end hair towards the end of the braid and measure how long I want the whole loc to be and where I want the body to stop.

By far the best I've seen, you snapped on these.

Tip usually we don't braid all the way down because that's a whole style in itself we braid until natural hair ends and crochet in the human hair then rap with synthetic hair breed human hair into the end and wrap synthetic hair to cover the knot

Hmmm. I think i need these. But i use human hair on a track and just cut the track really small and wrap them in when I do them on myself.

I’ve tried that but the hair on the track always sheds more due to the filler hairs ! I’m sure you’ll get a nice look tho if you use long enough bundles.

Track glue can literally accidentally touch your hair and you’ll be fine . I said I’ve never put nail glue where people’s real hair is.

Def harder than it looks but there are easier methods for sure if you use premade locs
