I watched Imam Omar Suleiman in an open forum with a Christian and a Jew discussing/debating their respective religions. Although I am a Christian there was no doubt the Imam “won” the debate hands down. He speaks with the strongest sense of confidence, conviction, compassion and empathy. He is an amazing speaker and his knowledge is endless. I could listen to him all day long. In the times of rampant Islamophobia I believe he is a great ambassador for Islam and an excellent voice for Muslims here in the U.S

In Islam we raise our mothers to the highest rank. Literally no one can surpass our mothers in terms of who we should treat best in our personal lives. There is a saying of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him that says, "heaven lies beneath the feet of your mother" which is basically to show the status and elevation of the mother, and also that a key to making it to paradise would be treating your mother with utmost love and respect

Muhammed, Jesus, Mosses, Ibrahim, Adam and other prophets and messengers came with one message which is to worship one God. Islam is the continuation of the same message Jesus and Mosses gave.

It’s called brain washing, many in the west have fallen victim to it. Omar is shedding light on the humanity of Muslim people, people who contribute their kindness, their intelligence, their hard work, not just in America but around the world. The radical Muslim factions are the only ones Americans hear about because there’s a culture war against the peaceful Muslims, which make up the majority of the Muslim population. If non-western Muslims were these villains that you’re implying they are, there would be reports of killings and violence around the world by them 24/7 because they make up 24% of the human population - that’s millions of people.

@@mifflinfinity: Muslims as people are great. They are full of humanity and kindness, and most of them are FAR BETTER than Islam. Most have never read the Qur'an (believed to be the literal word of Allah), Hadiths (the traditions of Muhammed), The Sira (biography of Muhammed), or Tafsirs (explanations). However, there are Muslims who are very devout, who follow all of the fundamentals of the ideology, and who are thus very knowledgeable about the obligations and the aim of Islam, which is to subjugate the whole world to Allah. If they live in places where Islam is in power, they can act on their obligations. Muslims in the west are, thankfully, not in power and around one quarter of them leave Islam once they investigate the ideology that they've been born into. Islam is primarily a political-legal ideology which encompasses every aspect of life, including that of the lives of Unbelievers (infidels, kaffirs). Why do you think that today there are still many Islamic countries which have the *death penalty* for Muslims who dare to leave Islam?

wanted to extend that a tiny bit, im a secular humanist and im albanian, even tho my people are made of all religions, majority are muslim, we have churches and mosques close together, mother theresa was albanian, when that terrorist attack on that french cartoonist happened in france (the guy who drew mohammad as old man who lives in sewage pipes, same as some neonazis were drawing jewish people w big noses before) all our religious leaders including muslim ones went there to pay homage and solidarize with their families, its on yt, i loved it, not a pr stunt, its just how my people are, if thats hard to believe youtube this 'albanians saved jews' my people put their families at high risk to protect them, and not a single family was turned out to nazis, im proud of that, and yet my people, majority muslim, are somehow considered terrorists because the actions of 2-4-6-8? people that they did in 2001, not just my people billions of people are blamed because of that, but we dont do that, groups or nations let alone religion are not responsible for the actions of a individual or few. And being for so long in internet i think ive started to understand that the racism towards muslims is not just based on 9/11 or religion alone, i think the skin color has a huge role in that hate, its mixed w religious hate, because the view of majority white "civilized" racists is that middle eastern people are kinda subhumans who fuck animals, and i see this as a repeated pattern for decades, theyre terrorists, camel fuckers, this and that... its just disgusting, internet and news media is mostly to blame about this, because im 100% sure you have never heard of albania, majority muslim european state, was the only safe state where jews could escape and be safe. Yet we are called terrorists XD for no reason, we are called as "theyre poisoning our society" when few of my people migrate to other states for economical reasons, shlt, the world aint fair, and even tho i dont believe in god, i do believe in karma and i do believe that the truth always comes out. The question would have given the speaker an opportunity to address what is a primary perception/concern of many anti-muslim Americans. Omar spoke of peace, but regularly media shows the violent and oppressive side of the religion. An explanation by Omar of the oppressive and violent sects (and I assume condemnation) would have rounded out the introduction to this faith and straight-forwardly addressed a common perception. In short - Lot's of discussion about love, with no acknowledgment of the other side of the coin.

Omar is so eloquent and the way he constructs his sentences and delivers his thought so perfectly is amazing, it's as if he was reading from well-written articles every time you asked him something. Islam is getting so much attention in the media after Khabib made it so desirable through the MMA community with his beautiful and humble personality and honesty. I have noticed that it is only increasing rapidly beside it being the fastest growing religion in the west by converts, mostly young women (the irony huh), but amongst the Hollywood stars too. Tate brothers became Muslims, Ben Affleck defended Islam on a talk show, and Jon Bernthal, the punisher himself praised Islam, but the most amazing, beneficial, brave and educational of them all is this podcast right here. LET'S GO! Believing in GOD is trending and WE LOVE IT! ps. Firas Zahabi, you should invite him to talk about well...anything basically😂 The dude is the best MMA coach ever and has degrees in philosophical science AND I love it when he talks about science, God and religion

This is one of the most underrated thing that people are aware of Muslims. We love our mothers as she is the one that sets up the path of our salvation from when we are young. We have to take care of our mothers in Islam and never expect our spouse, kids or care homes to look after her. She is the one that looks after us when we were at our most vulnerable and we expect to look after her when she is at her most vulnerable. Ultimately our reward is with God.

What will the role of these muhammadan mothers be in the muhammadan jannah or garden of Hubal Allah subanahuh wa ta allah? Will they not be superfluous for the horny muhammadan mumineen? After all, the muhammadan mumineen will be well supplied and well stocked with voluptuous big breasted hoors, with the purpose of eternal coitus. Will the rightly believing muminas be rewarded with 80, 000 young boys as beautiful as pearls? Wil the muhammadan mothers have special seats where they can be spectators when their muhammadan husbands and their muhammadan sons make passionate whoopee with the eternally virginal hoors or maidens of janna.

This was fantastic. We share so many of the same beliefs yet not the same religion. I was a devout atheist, or should I say a hopeless lost atheist for many years. I constantly blamed religion for many problems of the world and likely my personal problems as well. I fully embrace now, and that which i have seen through my experiences in the 20 years of my adult life that these are actually geo political problems. You are both incredible and I appreciate your voices. The powers that be are constantly moving towards dehumanization in the quest for power and conquest. We must fight against this at all costs. The irony is that technology is a powerful tool to spread information yet is also greatly contributing to this problem of removing our humanity. I will do more. Thank you

Dear sir, concluding from your above reaction, I must say with due respect that you are an ignoramus in matters concerning muhammadanism. Muhammadanism is the very ideology of dehumanization in the quest for power and conquest. This vile ideology of conquest, mayhem and murder, conquest and plunder, slavery and torture, Jihad, caused tremendous suffering from Spain, through North Africa, the Middle East, Persia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bharat. I recommend the book by Robert Spencer: The History of Jihad: From Muhammad to ISIS One does not need sophisticated modern technology to commit large scale murder. Attila the Hun, Djengiz Khan, non muslim, Timur Lenk Mahmud of Ghazni and Aurangzeb, muhammadans, to mention a few; were capable of committing large scale slaughter that will earn the respect of Stalin, Hitler or Mao.

Islam is INTOLERANT. Over a matter, if the Quran states it's prohibited, it's prohibited, period. No compromise, no bargain. That's why, in most Islamic countries, although some face economic problem or corruptive govt (who's not?), they don't have these problems of mass-shooting, alcoholism, drunk driving, massive teenager-single moms/fatherless children (from free sex), l*btq agenda pushed on children, transgenderism who try to replace women or feminism that rejects masculinity. For those who are non-muslims, it's rather difficult to understand why (practicing) muslims are so strict about their religion. This is because when you are a/become a muslim, there's this consciousness The Almighty bestows/embed on you; (1) fear of His wrath, and at the same time (2) a sense of hope for His grace/mercy. That's why muslim fear more of getting consequences (punishment) from The Almighty rather than punishment from His creations (human). On the same sense, (this is why) muslim holds believe reward from The Creator is far much better than reward from the creations (human) whenever doing good deeds. That's why muslim known as the most generous society. This is something non-muslim would not understand since this is something more of an INNER DIMENSION/PSYCHOLOGY of a muslim. And to me personally, an entity entitled to be God should be something Uncreated yet Eternal, has no human attributions, no weaknesses, Self-Sufficient yet the All Provider, Perceives by vision not, yet perceives all vision, begets not nor begotten, The One and Only-Indivisable, Most-Beneficent-Most Merciful that i can pray directly to without any mediator. Most Forgiving that i can repent without any mediator. Of all deities i know, it's only the islamic god that match all these criteria.

@@SheikhAlladeenre supposed to be better than dogs, and the book is there to teach you how. Also I dont understand your outrage about waiting 3 months before you re-marry. I know we in the west are liberal about anyone being allowed to do anything whenever they want, but lets not pretend that re-marrying within a month after divorce is somehow a sign of a healthy balanced life. Makes me think of men and women who cant be alone with themselves for a whole month so they start a new relationship to keep them too busy to contemplate the miserable state of their mental health. Practically speaking, I think three months would be just the right minimum amount of time to let emotions subside and reorganise yourself before you dive into the next life altering decision. Those “rules” are there for a reason, and not all of them are punished by eternal hell fire. They serve as advice and guidelines which really make alot more sense then it is given credit for. But we’re too stuck in our hedonistic indulging addictions for us to want to admit that because that’d mean we’d have to work on ourselves. So dont read the book and buy another shiney thing that will give you enjoyment for a three whole seconds before your short attention span pulls you to the next useless crap nobody needs.
