If you look at some of the scenes with omar in it, he wasn't hard to take out. He has his back turned a few times and his crew only rolled with him a hand full of times. Example. When they threw the dope out of the window in the garbage bag. They could've easily reached a gun out of the window and popped him. When brother Mozune had him dead to rights before they teamed up and hit striger, he could've dropped omar. The would've not only taken him out as being the peasant that he was on the street but also the informant would've been gone which was the biggest peace of both crew's problems

Those were crack vials which used to exist back in the day apparently. Way before my time. Definitely not heroin. Heroin traditionally came in the form of small wax paper baggies often stamped for brand recognition. In recent years well heroin barely even exists anymore. It's all fentanyl mixed with 99.99% filler and sold by the gram.
@cruisingscenesandtakingbea4197
Жыл бұрын
@@dbojangles1597 Thats what I never got about the wire. They put so much authenticity in everything but then had heroin distributed in vials. As far as I can remember, street level dope of all kinds has been sold in wax baggies and weed sold in sandwich wags. Its weird for them to make this big a lapse so I just figure there was maybe a time period in baltimore in the late 90s early 2000s as crack popularity declined and heroin popularity increased that the glass vials were used to sell heroin and thats why they used them in the show.
@dbojangles1597
Жыл бұрын
@@cruisingscenesandtakingbea4197 What you talking about? As far as I can remember it was never stated in the show that vials were for heroin. They were always meant to be crack filled vials which was a thing back in the day. A street dealing enterprise at that level on ghetto streets is almost certainly moving both. In my experience it's far more likely to find a crack dealer who doesn't sell heroin than a heroin dealer that doesn't sell crack.
@southsidesaiyan8641
Жыл бұрын
@@dbojangles1597 it was very heavily implied and even flat out stated that the vials were heroin. Why do you think after people like bubbles would cop vials they would shoot up? The entire show they heavily emphasize that heroin is the big drug on the street that the dealers are selling. Also on the show they always call the customers dope feins not crackheads.
@dbojangles1597
Жыл бұрын
@@southsidesaiyan8641 You're overthinking it man. It was just a creative choice to have them talk heroin and show crack vials When it comes to the dope game a large portion of heroin addicts also smoke crack. If you are too the point where you are hard stuck on something that causes you to suffer more than most people could possibly imagine if you don't keep going crack ain't really that big a thing and they balance each other out. In fact in my experience (and I have a lot of experience trust me) the only dope fiends that don't smoke crack are those that are too sensitive to it or otherwise don't like it for one reason or another.
