The title says it all, in this video I review the new lens from OM-System, but is it a new lens?

I’ve been shooting Olympus since the EM1 (Mark 1) but no OM System release since the OM1 has enticed me to spend any more money on the brand.

Same, although in fairness, if I were a macro shooter, I'd probably be VERY excited about the 90mm macro
What about the 12-45 f4? I have considered it because it is smaller and lighter than the 12-40 f2.8. It would be interesting to see a comparison.

RED35 has made a great comparison. In short, the 12-45 is slightly sharper at the long end, the 12-40 on the wide end, if stopped down to f4. You loose a stop of light and the focus clutch, but gain 5mm and the size and weight advantage. I went for the 12-40 1:2.8 as I just throw in a 45mm 1:1.8 if I absolutely need that extra range, but gain that stop of light and love the focus clutch. The size and weight feels at home on my E-M1 II, but the 12-45 1:4 feels nicer on the E-M5 sized bodies.
