I love this song but I was born in 1985 and didn't have cable til 1992 so I listened to this on cassette growing up and here I am on June 21, 2024 seeing this video for the first time and can't believe it because it has John Travolta in it too so when Grease had it's 20th anniversary in 1998 and it was a big deal again I am really surprised I didn't see this video then or anywhere at all before now. I still can't believe she's gone. What an amazing performer she was! I hope the future generations stumble upon her music because she made some beautiful songs.

The passing of the great Olivia Newton John yesterday brought me here. I have been a fan of hers since the late 70's/80's as a kid. I always had a crush on her because she was so beautiful and because of her movie rolls. However, she was a great singer as well. Not sure why she didn't get more notoriety for her music accomplishments though. I remember the movies "Grease, Two of Kind along with Xanadu" back in the late 70's early 80's. Songs like "Physical, Twist of Fate and the whole entire Grease soundtrack" really stood out for me. I can't believe that we lost this angel. R.I.P Olivia Newton John.

Rayon the biggest snub of her great career is that as of August 2022, she is *not* yet in the Rock Music Hall of Fame. And I don't think she is in the Country Music Hall of Fame either. Someone can correct me. As big as a global pop star as she was, you are correct in not getting more lifelong Entertainment awards such as a Rock or Country Music HOF induction while she was still alive. Hate to say it but those 2 Music HOF's are sexist at times for overlooking Female Stars such as ONJ. Finally with this media attention on her passing, she gets into both of them asap.

This is my favorite ONJ song of all time. I remember watching the movie Two of a Kind every night on HBO and just waiting for the credits to roll for this cool surreal song to start playing! Life was so much better in the 80's. I love and miss you Olivia! You will never be forgotten! You've left behind a Beautiful legacy of music and memories for us to enjoy! May you RIP! 🙏❤

I remember the first time I heard this song played on 103.3 KHTR (now KLOU) in St. Louis. I knew this was going to be a big hit for her, and it became one of my go to songs of December 1983. She will forever be one of the greatest singers that ever lived. RIP ONJ.

It seems when a artist establishes themselves in the 70’s it’s those songs that get the airplay, it’s the same with ELO. Both ELO and ONJ had some hits going into the 80’s and those records don’t get the airplay.

This was brought back, (because it was featured in a "stranger things" episode last year)...now coincidentally, Olivia newton John had passed this week, and this year...I wonder if the cable premium movie channels or Netflix is gonna start showing the movie, "two of a kind" (where this song originally came from?)...so sad to hear the news of her passing...she will be missed by her fans 😥 🌻

Gracias.
