Amen Amen Amen if you notice Eli Pope didn't interfere in their marriage either. She had no contact with him. He was at the wedding and didn't even walk her down so that means she didn't even know he was there. He was way on the other end of the church. Also Jake had no contact with Olivia either just Fitz so that showed that he wasn't even an option.

I still teared up. We have been loyal for 100 episodes. We deserve this, even if its just her imagination! Also makes us realize that Olivia still wants him. I'm glad she made the right decision. Although subtle, it was actually a choice for Jake or Fitz and she chose the way she always does when presented with a choice to go/follow either one

Wow I wondered why they used Jake in the beginning scene (other than to show his advice is usually wrong and immoral). You're right- it subtly sets it up as a choice bet following Fitz or Jake. The showrunners put a lot of thought into this episode. They obviously wanted their 100th to be memorable & they succeeded.

Both Fitz and Olivia have their own money. Remember in the alternate universe Eli was there but he didn't walk her down the aisle which means he probably wasn't in her life still. Remember he wasn't in her life for years.

That's exactly *WHY* I was so giddy/tingly/excited *(SR WILL NOT let it last)* about epi 609. It felt like the *ORIGINAL Scandal (Season 1, 2 & 1st half of 3)* that the fandom fell in love with, OCP, OPA, OLITZ & the WH period. The badass clothes, the confident walk, the gang *fixing again,* Liv & Hucks unwavering love & commitment to their friendship, etc.
