if you look at season 2, it was her natural hair, flat iron, curl, etc. But, once Scandal started really rocking (toward's the end of season 2 , Kerry's schedule became insane, (interviews, movies, guest appearances, spokesperson for Revlon, etc). This was at the same time she was on the set, sometimes up to 14 hrs a day. In order to keep up with appearances, Kerry is just like many other stars of all hair types-she had to improvise. However, make no mistake about it, Kerry has a head full of beautiful, ethnic hair, which by the way, was one of the reasons she was picked for the role.
