Oliver Solberg testing for 2021 ACI Rally Monza: High Speed Sections & Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC Sound!

Here's another video from Hyundai Motorsport's pre-event tests ahead of the 2021 ACI Rally Monza. This was recorded during the last of four days of testing, during which it was Oliver Solberg's turn behind the wheel. The course used is the same you saw on my previous video about Teemu Suninen (and which all the four factory drivers tested), a 2.5 km uphill road with both fast sections, some sequences of slower corners and some hairpin bends. Once reached the top, the course was covered downhill.
Being the same car on the same special stage of my previous uploaded video, I didn't focus 100% on recordings because I also wanted to try to take some photos with my DSLR. This just to point out why the video contains a lot of static footage but I hope you'll appreciate it in any case. And yes, I have slightly abused of positions where the speeds of these aerodynamic monsters stand out hehe

Having those leaves on the track is really cool actually, really helps show the speed and aero working.
We are lucky there is still internal combustion engines in rallying as it won't be such a spectical if electrified. Long live the noise 🔥🔥

salve, queste macchine sono molto più veloci delle gruppo B, le gruppo B avevano solo potenza poi bisognava manenerle in strada

@@nismo3871 he is 19 now probably. And I'm 19 too. ( saw the Oliver's video in the 2019 goodwood fos. He was 17 at that time, and I too was 17 )

Racing/Rallying is meant for "performance and speed" not exhaust fumes. Batteries give us an innovative chance to improve motorsports.
