(Old Video) 8/16 Port Sterling M-10 Set off Request, Short Alert Signal - Hendersonville, NC
Ғылым және технология
*Originally recorded on December 17, 2014.* I finally got around to post this video. Thanks to the FD for my request for siren set off. Sorry about the audio is poor due to strong winds. And I did not have my main camera. So it was recorded by my photo camera (Nikon Coolpix L310). This siren is active as a tornado siren and is owned by Henderson County, NC. I think I was last told that this siren is tested every Saturday between 12:00 PM EDT and 1:00 PM EDT. Hopefully one day I will come back and re-record it. I don't know if this siren is still tested. This siren is located at Valley Hill Fire and Rescue (1675 Willow Road, Hendersonville, NC 28739) in Hendersonville, NC.

The Port Sterling is a very old siren. Back in the days, we had to have weekly tests and when I was a kid, that siren was right next to the playground fence. My teacher would be freaked out!
I'm impressed. Good job👍

Features the same fan design and port counts, though these have deeper, raspier and more rich sound than a Sentry due to having tighter intakes.
It still there and active or was it replaced?
How about M-5
NICE
