Listening to this song, made me remember when Ballistic and Madness were the hardest songs back then, when Boyfriend was named Keith and when you could only use the arrow keys and WASD. Nostalgia hits hard, doesn't it?...

Very cool idea. Satisfying to watch all the characters at the end too, it's always the most fun part of All Stars covers. Brings me back, man. Not that it's been THAT long but you know what I mean. Mods really got better. I wonder what some of these would be like if they were updated one more time.

as someone who's been in the fnf community since very early 2021 this is genuinely such an awesome cover, especially corrupted gf and lemon demon in act 3, and holy SHIT act 4

The ones who started the Mod Era

It all started with boom, *literally*

this.. is.. so.. GOOD and NOSTALGIC!!! I like it a lot

i like how julian is omega's replacement, he's essentially just a creation of whitty, fitting for omega's connection to ultra m.

Ok, Old/Execution Lord X, that was cool. I was not expecting that.

I'm actually kinda impressed on how every character in Act 4 gets a somewhat fitting replacement for their respective voices. Starting with "The Distraction" aka Jordan (duh, he replaces Omega, the first "enemy" that Ultra M mimics the voice of). Then going to IHY Luigi's part replaced with Tabi, a jealous ex of gf that hates both bf and gf. After Tabi is Bob, which could be seen as a sort of costume to the real demon, fitting for replacing the Costume Mario bit. Replacing Mr. V is another manipulator in QT, whom toys with bf's head before going for the kill. Next up is Annie taking the place of Coronation Peach.... look, I got nothin for this one, I don't really know Hazy River mod that much, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a demon possessing a corpse, I guess they're both women, idk. Taking the place of Abandoned Luigi is AGOTI, which fits the context of AGOTI being somewhat abandoned by their friends and left in a sort of void. Right after is Kapi taking the spot of GB, Kapi being more expressive and bouncy just like GB. Followed up immediately by Lord X replacing MX (although I personally think it should've been Sonic.exe, just to keep the more traditional "classic mod" characters that this video proclaims). Once bf is done crying, we get the duet of Sarvente and Ruv swapping out Peach.exe and Yoshi.exe (if you can't get the connection then I pity you). Swapping Mr. L is ETELED, both very violent individuals. Switching from DJ Hallyboo is bf's ex which is just no party at all Replacing the Dictator is Nonsense, the creator/dictator of their own world and powers. Following another bloodthirsty "devil" is Manifest Sky replacing Devil Mario from Powerstars. Right after the metaphorical devil is the depressed Garcello replacing the Depressed Luigi. Then swapping the Unbeatable Mr. Sys is one of the "unbeatable" characters, that being Matt from Wii sports. Next switching the artificial intelligence of Stanley (aka promotion mario) with the artificial intelligence of Hatsune Miku. Replacing the Apparition is the illusive Tord... the only connection I can make is Tord being absent from Edds World for a while, fans wanted him back, and so they got their wish. Finally, replacing Turmoil is the meme man Ultra Instinct Shaggy, the funny joke character being replaced by aother funny joke character (I could also it being the fact that it is Turmoil's part that gets bf killed, and Shaggy's mod made a lot of people restart, or get "killed" whilst fighting him).

HELL YEAH! the vocals sound alil off, can't complain, they don't sound bad. also 3RD ACT was awesome, i didn't expect you to actually add the vocals aswell.

Nostalgia overload. Makes me miss the days when those mods came, when I was a little younger, a little happier, but it also makes me see how far we’ve all come.

god this is such a blast to the past on top of having some great visuals on top of a phenomenally made cover, I apprciate the effort of actually editing the voicelines and such on top of everything else its a really nice touch

It hits me more to see the first bf game over than the All-stars game over of the final duel 😢 so nostalgic....😢

If this does get an actual playable cover mod, it should be charted like the older mods: slightly poorly charted, and full of JACKS as those older mods where literally the first few mods ever made

It's confirmed Canon that boyfriend, while he did loose in body, beat Ultra M in spirit. He wasn't able to assimilate him due to his willpower and while he still is a puppet, he's a puppet with free will and such.

OOOOO NOW THIS GOT A LIL KICK. THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF FNF, brings me a lot of memories of my friends actually. This was one of our main favorites thing ever, FNF. Bringing us closer and still friends and family till this day.

I am literally so happy that Zardy was included. His mod was my absolute favorite back in the day, and it makes me proud that people still remember him

Damn, I love this cover. I like everything here, starting with the fact that instead of gf's death, she is corrupted and lemon demon sings in the background instead of Mario, ending with death, not in the literal sense, namely that the game over screen, as if showing the simplicity of the mods of that time, and just the fact that bf is immortal and can start over. It evokes a sense of nostalgia in general
