I hate “no pictures pat” but no one ever talks about it. Patrick just gets ruined in later seasons.

Fun fact: SpongeBob had an episode before "Ink Lemonade" where Squidward inked. The episode was called " Giant Squidward ". Also in the second SpongeBob movie Sponge Out of Water , Squidward inks because he got nervous.

@@whyteboywasted imma be honest, ink lemonade has a ton of flaws but the main thing for me is WHY does the ink come from his nose of all places. that just makes me viscerally uncomfortable. any other part of his body wouldve still been gross tbh but not as uncomfortable.

NONE of the cast liked “One Coarse Meal”. Clancy Brown even stated he felt very uncomfortable recording his lines for the episode.

@@puglife658 Mr. Krabs discovered Plankton's phobia of whales after seeing Pearl. He then psychologically tortures Plankton by disguising himself as Pearl to traumatize him to no end. Plankton became so afraid that he wanted to end his life waiting for a bus to run him over.

One Coarse Meal is still probably my least favorite tbh. I know the criticisms of the episode have been beaten into the ground by now, but it's still crazy how horrendously unlikeable Mr. Krabs was (even more than usual, I should say). Not to mention the glaring continuity errors, like the fact that Plankton and Pearl had already interacted with each other plenty of times prior to that episode

So my least favorite episode is the one where SpongeBob gets stuck in a wringer and Patrick fucking superglues him to it. SpongeBob then proceeds to have a terrible day by getting sent home from work and getting hurt from everything patrick does to him. Then when SpongeBob finally loses his cool and tells Patrick off for what he did, everyone around him gaslights SpongeBob into thinking he “deserved what he got” because his “heart is the problem” not his body being stuck because of patrick. Ohhhhh this episode pissed me off so much even as a kid.

⁠imo Spongebob did have plenty of funny closeups (plenty as in yeah most of them are gross, creepy, and/or just bad, but some are funny) but they definitley got worse and worse as the show progressed. They used the joke way too often, and the closeups even got so gruesome it was out of pocket for the show’s premise and target audience itself. I will admit they had at LEAST 50-60 ok closeups from seasons 1-4, maybe even to season 5, but after that, it was all hit or miss, really repetitive and annoying, and/or gross and gory. For Flapjack, I see no issue with ANY of the closeups. It’s already a very wacky, creepy, and gross show, so generally the close up shots are very fitting for the show and almost always very funny, to me at least. And, not to mention, they didn’t overuse the gag either. I think people who are into darker and weirder kid’s media, like Flapjack, see those shots as funny and a huge (positive) part of the series itself. Anyone who watches the show, even if they don’t care for the shots, can watch the show without getting uncomfortable or annoyed by any of the closeups. In all, I can see why those who like more wholesome cartoons (like Spongebob) WOULDN’T like those closeups, and also why those who like more dark, gross, and wacky shows (like Flapjack and Ren and Stimpy) would enjoy the shots. Even for fans of darker cartoons, Ren and Stimpy and Spongebob took the shots to a distasteful level for EVERYONE, while Flapjack’s can be seen as funny and loveable to those who are into the more gross and weird shows. It's weird because I can see what the writers weren't trying to go for with a creepy episode, but went about the the wrong way to where it's just disturbing and just not even funny with ink lemonade Splinter is awful, it's irredeemably bad and just gross. In the original first three seasons of SpongeBob, the gross out scenes were actually limited to how gross they are because they were used not to be as gross as possible but to be used as a form of irony to the character's dialogue or the situation. Here though, they are just stupid.

My least favorite scene in SpongeBob is in House Fancy is it gross and disturbing, and I feel physical pain when I watch it

Face freeze is definitely the worst in my opinion. Their faces are so matted and dishevelled and they look like mutants created by the devil himself. Especially Mr Krabs’ face, he looks like a literal demon

@@CEO_of_Steidi While Squid Baby does seem to be infamous overall, I feel like it doesn't get enough hate compared to other infamous episodes. It takes my pick for the absolute worst episode, as I've seen everything from seasons 1 through 13. It really says something that an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants could make me that uncomfortable.

I think the reason the splinter episode is so hated is because all you have to do is look back at other episodes and realized that all SpongeBob had to do was cut his own hand off and it would've grown back good as new.

I was a weird kid for finding the splinter iconic. Grossed out how that I’m an adult but I remember thinking this episode was good bc I wasn’t bothered by it💀

In my opinion, the worst episode is (don’t get surprised) Squirrel Jelly. I just HATE the way Sandy acts, destroying jellyfish fields, going WAY too hard on everyone, and ESPECIALLY the ‘Frankenstein fish food’. I’d do ANYTHING for that episode to be deleted

Pet Sitter Pat is the episode, where SpongeBob leaves Patrick in charge of Gary while he's at his grandmother's place. But Patrick is nothing but trouble, and at one point he pulls out a flamethrower, which is likely what was referred too. I agree with many fans that it's a pretty bad episode.

I hate how needlessly over the top and Irritating the new seasons are.

I actually knew that Ink Lemonade was a hated episode of SpongeBob. Glad you decided to talk about it. I don’t like this episode because Patrick torturing the heck out of Squidward is just too painful for me to watch. Same goes with watching the episode The Splinter, that episode sometimes makes me question the entire animation industry and life in general.

I watched The Splinter episode when I was really little and I think it might have given me a fear of getting splinters throughout my childhood ☠️

I think that neighborhood one where squidward was just wanting a relaxing sunday off and all spongebob and patrick do is bug him even after FINALLY screaming it in their heads they still bug him

For me the absolute worst episode was the one were spongebob made garry race, and it was really disturbing. i still cant watch it till today.

Whatever episode where Spongebob crushes Squidward's foot and rips off his toenail helping him move a couch was when I decided the show was long past its expiry date

The splinter is definitely the worst spongebob episode in my opinion. The fact that spongebob could’ve just take his arm with the splinter off and replace it like in graveyard shift just annoyed me

I have four episodes I despise: Yours, Mine and Mine (Most iconic, literally the same reason why everyone hates it) Squid Baby (just weird bro. And pretty uncomfortable) Squid's Visit (JUST WHY??? I literally felt sick watching this as a kid, mostly because Squidward is my favorite) And...Stuck in the Wringer. So out of character bro. It's not funny, it pisses me off and it makes me hate Patrick. That's my list! I can't wait to see your next terrible episodes video because theyre so entertaining. When I was younger, I actually remember really liking Ink Lemonade. Was it among the best? No. Maybe I was just distracted by the fact that it was the b episode of My Leg, which is actually really good for modern spongebob.

I did watch a lot of SpongeBob as a kid, but I haven't seen Ink Lemonade, but The Splinter really grossed me out as a kid, and I feel like Ink Lemonade would do the same

I thought I didnt need to stare at the dancing spongebob gif but nope, I did stare at it😂. This also unlocked memories of me watching the splinter as a kid

The splinter episode was the most unrealistic because there is no way mr Krabs pays his employees for not working that’s the most unrealistic part of it

What about the most infamous special of SpongeBob, "SpongeBob, You're Fired!"? It's the episode when Mr. Krabs was firing SpongeBob for a Nickel, and SpongeBob cries so annoyingly for 3 to 4 straight minutes, just like one of those guys from a sitcom who has bad luck all the time, and I'm not mentioning the name of the character or the sitcom. Anyway it's the bad SpongeBob episodes we are talking about, not a sitcom. Don't forget the other special, "The Clash of Triton." is pretty bad, too.

I actually have two SpongeBob episodes that I consider the worst. My least favorite pre season 4 episode is "I'm With Stupid." It just made Patrick so unlikable. My least favorite post season 4 episode is honestly "SpongeBob, you're fired." It was the first episode where I felt disappointed and thought, "Man, I could write a better version of this." Usually, "bad" SpongeBob episodes make me feel nothing. This one made me feel like it didn't need to exist.
