SAME! When i played the mod with my boyfriend we were both dissapointed that we didnt get a Mario the music box song cuz we love that game so much

What’s interesting is that I’m pretty sure that most of the scrapped characters would be in Content Cosmos. Also with Daddy Dearest I remember when Marco was being interviewed about the history of the development of MMV2 that there would have be an ending to where BF was able to escape the cartridge after All-Stars if you FC the song, but DD shoots BF when he tells him what happened with GF, so BF dies anyways.

I feel some would’ve been cool to see, but that there were enough joke characters as is.

You did miss one character that was confirmed to be scrapped from V2 ( you can find that in Metatera’s Interview with Marco Antonio), and that is Luigi from Super Mario Dolor. Super Mario Dolor was a Mario Fan-game created by ‘Ziggity’ and was actually taken down by Nintendo, and it follows the story of a grieving Mario facing his Inner-Demons of grief inside of a nightmarish Fantasy in his head after the loss of his brother. Luigi was the secret final boss and beating him results in the games Best ending.

fun fact about ink bowser: hes actually canonically best friend's with another exe named "king ruthless" and he's basically a bowser who wants to kills mario,luigi, toad and peach because hes tired of always losing.also,he has has black eyes, a cracked shell, and blood all over him, but hes not at all like starved eggaman(people used to compare them).

One I was surprised that wasn’t in the mod or even thought about to be in was Peach from the Mario Kart Wii Anti-Piracy video. She would have fit perfectly with how creepy it is

There are so many characters from the mario.exe wiki,like for example Persephone,Athenaeus,or Daymaker,or even faceless or Fungnetta that could have worked for a mod like this,but I'm kinda happy with the mod we got❤

I checked with wiki and I think its because the idea was pitched by 2 very controversial devs in the mod

I really wish they could have made some concepts for a Mario and the music box song, even a sprite sketch would be cool. Other than that, I’m glad to learn more about this wonderful mod and I’m very happy with what we got

I know the team isn't doing a V3 ( and I don't think they should tbh, the mod is perfect as is), but if the team ever decides to revisit this world, I can think of an in universe reason for why these scrapped characters were never seen in Mario's Madness. Mairo.exe sent them to go fight Pico and whoever else was dragged into the game. edit: If something like this were to be in development, I want to see Mario from Mario: The Music Box (look it up if you don't know).

I really wish Victim 1 was in this mod. But also the creepy Mario Galaxy ‘tree’ aliens. Those would’ve been cool to be added even scrapped.

A character that I wanted to see in the mod was Maareo from that OneyPlays GameBoy Advance SP Blue Edition creepypasta

I have heared of most of these scrapped characters, and It would have been cool to add these into the mod, that would have been cool. (Edit: there was one you might have missed or didnt include which was luigi doll, he was basically an april fools joke and was based on a video where someone set their luigi doll on a pentagram and it stood up.)

Tundra and agony are sword machines that appeared in 1-3:HALLS OF THE SCARED REMAINS in act 1 the difference between tundra and agony is that tundra is blue while agony is red. Angry and rude are Sisyphean insurrectionist they apparently encounter in 6-1:CRY FOR THE WEEPER in act 2 just like tundra and agony angry is red and rude is blue.

Out of all of these I wish we'd got Ink Bowser, we didn't get much bowser content except for the Oh God No Game Over screen (from what I remember, if there is any other inclusions then I forgortm)

Tbh it would have been too much for the creators to handle if they put these characters in the mod as well I mean there’s like….. about 30 songs, so adding these guys would’ve made the mod twice as long which could be cool for some because of new content, but bad for others because it would probably make the mod drag on for too long personally I stick with the first side, more lore more exploring

Now I wonder if the mod will get another short update just to include these characters and their songs and be complete.

There was actually another scrapped character called mayo mario he's from the youtube channel called mayo he was scrapped because he was replaced by DJ hallyboo٫ boyfriend and girlfriend would have looked like mayo luigi and mayo peach in the song٫ mayo mario would have throwed shells into the notes which got repurposed to super bad mario throwing shells٫ half way in the song a TV would have dropped down that leaded bf & gf to race-traitors

The lumpy touch version of BF is now not normal, Mario is now a good guy while BF is a vessel monster

The reason that all these characters were scrapped I think it’s because too many would be in Irregulatiy Isles (the area with Chris Pratt, Grandad, and Somali)

The reason speed Runner Mario was scrapped because he was in another Mario mod which was original Mario and other characters like Luigi, Yoshi, and Walll Luigi he was going to be after him

The creator confirmed that they’re working on two other songs for a small update so some of those characters still have a small chance

Man, the mod would’ve been so much better if they included all of these characters. It would’ve felt less like a typical exe mod and more of a celebration of Mario and the community, especially Waluigi’s Taco Stand and Speedrunner Mario.
