Race traitors/ so cool - joke song doesnt immediately mean its good Thallasaphobia - really forgettable and doesnt fit the vibe of the mod in my opinion. And why listen to it when we have abandoned right there lol. Any song i said had ruined vocals - gb and wario just sound really weird to me and it kinda loses the charm the original version had. Unbeatable - its supposed to be a true final challenge, and id say that it succeeds in that aspect from the inst and fast vocals All stars - sure picking the final song as the best one is generic and cliche, but that doesnt change the fact that it would still be a god tier song even if it wasnt the finale to the mod Any song that is "overrated" - this still doesnt make sense to me. Everyone has their own tastes and just because one song is more popular than another (e.g. paranoia over thalassaphobia) doesnt change the fact that its just overall better than the other aswell I hope this helps 😊

I find Demise infectious, but it's definitely not the most amazing song in the mod. An amazing climax? Sure. An eeriely thrilling chase theme. Yeah, it's fantastic. Don't get me wrong. But people give it too much credit because of how much it's built up and what it stands for. Frankly, the other songs in the mod are really freakin' good, and yet, generally played off as glow-ups or gag songs. They're honestly all really fucking good. For the most part. I think even the worst songs in the mod are about as good as some of the better songs in mods like Nonsense v2. And Nonsense is one of my favorite mods. Essentially, people have been giving their opinions about the mod because it's a big ol' grab bag of variety, and the chromas and charting and gimmicks are all varied. There's a lot to love and perhaps even hate about it, but it's undeniably top quality all throughout. Especially the perfect songs like Alone, Unbeatable, All Stars, freakin' GRAND DAD.

People usually bash that part of the song but i think the use of an atonal mx voice is great and creative too!! lots of people also compare it to dave and bambi, but as a fan of D&B myself, I must disagree. I think the comparation stems from the samples for MX being mostly him screaming, but i think it fits perefectly! But anyhow, that’s just how i see it. in the end, its all subjective lole.

The reason why the songs are in these specific maps isn't because of just "yes", there are actually reasons for these song placements. Irregular Isles has songs like "So Cool" and "MARIO SING AND GAME RHYTHM 9" because they're strange and just don't make sense to Mario fans. Woodland of Lies has songs like "Apparition" and "I Hate You" because they're made up internet stories or lies to scare people. Content Cosmos has songs like "No Hope" and "Bad Day" because those are internet parodies/videos. Hellish Heights... I don't know about that one. Classified Castle has songs like "The End" and "Promotion" because they're from the Classified VHS series. Hence why Wario's Apparation isn't there.

It's the majority of the playable cast, since Bowser, Koopas, Goombas, Chain Chomp, Koopa the Quick, Wiggler, those weird spiders guys from Wet Dry World and the spiders from Hazy Maze Cave and multiple more that I won't list for sake of convenience are either NPCs or enemies that attempt to delete a 1-Up or 2 (Especially King Koopa himself) and Peach quite literally JUST appears for a cutscene. Fittingly, the only one missing when LG, W4R and Y0SH appear is a version of Mario, potentially meaning Omega is, while also solely being a distraction for BF while Ultra M kills GF, meant to fill that empty slot in the playable SM64DS cast. BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY! A GAME THEORY! THANKS FOR WATCHING!

fun facts about all stars that may or may not be misinformation!!: 1 - During act 2.5 [aka the trio] you can actually hear them in their respective places with good headphones LG - equally in both sides W4r - more tot he left ear Y0sh - more to the right ear 2 - The fact that Ultra M used Turmoil as his last voice i ironic, as at the end of last course, you get a random dodge mechanic at the end of the song before going to black In all stars, the spike kills Bf at the end of the song 3 - Both BF and GF canonically died extactly 3 times in the whole mod! [as far as i can remmeber] Both died in Dictator GF died in Power down BF dying in last course, as it implies that you can't dodge the last attack then they both dide in All stars

I just watched a Gameplay video of Mario Madness V1 and honestly I like how much they changed, I love the new character sprites, the new music especially Horror Mario’s laugh, it’s a lot better than that goofy.. whatever not laugh thing..

The fact you put so cool in dead last makes up for demise being so low

btw when the arrrows are in the middle of the screen in unbeatable, it isnt an instakill, its only at the start where it says dont miss, and the rest of the song, its chill

This list would be way better if Demise, Powerdown, No Party, and Last Course ESPECIALLY we’re higher on the list because those songs are amazing and all have special flair and intriguing parts. Last Course didn’t deserve to be as low as it was, more so than the other three I said. After I saw what you said about this absolute BANGER of a song, I was DEVASTATED. If you are going to rant about ANY song’s music, do it with any course EXCEPT for Last Course. It goes too hard and is too fire for you to say that it gets a 6/10 ONLY!? No.

With abaonded i like the change of art styles to a sm64 thing and also i love how if you miss one of the wet dry world note things your dead your fate is sealed you have died

Thalassophobia being so low had me a bit doubtful about this video, but you pulled it back with No Hope & Starman Slaughter. also, Yo soy Luigi/10 gave me a genuine chuckle. As someone else stated, tho... missed opportunity for 1,000,000/10 with Unbeatable. Still, great video!

I'll say this, first time playing this mod was amazing, there was a lot of good songs and like... 6 stinkers, but it was very fun and a mod to topple Vs Impostor for me. Maybe im biased as a Nintendo fan but.. I love this mod. Anyways here's my rank of the songs, Im only basing it off of music and not visuals. any other song not on the list just means Im chill with them existing and some are headbangers but not in my top 6. Golden Land just sounds bland during the second phase, im not usually the one to be like, "I loved version 1 better because of,, this and that" but this was one of those moments where I just liked the intensity of V1 better than V2, something about it didn't hit hard. Also Nourishing Blood was fun to play but im comparing them music wise, and it was kind of... weak on its own without visuals. These are also just my opinions. @@SwiftlyTheFunny

honestly I dont think the ruined gbs vocals infact I think it fits him better for me its the instrumental it doesn't give you that insane pounding rock feeling like the original did but is still one of my favorite songs

I prefer the old vocals (transformed version) to be honest, the voice sometimes gets hard to hear over all the effects they add for it to fit in the music

The fact that all of RedTV’s songs ended up in the top 5 goes to show how good of an artist he is.

I know these are scrapped but what do you think of eason mason (wega song) and mr apolecia (bald mario "mark") song

I was hoping All Stars would include EVERYONE, including the Australian gang. When Mario was singing they would say "YOU CANNOT BEAT US, YOU CANNOT BEAT US" over and over in the background

I don't understand why people hate on The End and Costume. Costume is based on a really good Mario creepypasta, and the fact that his design is from that one scene in a Mario analog horror. His song is also really good if you listen to it more.

something i want to point out: in Unbeatable, there's only one don't miss section, which is in Level 1. every other time it goes middle scroll and extra characters appear on the sides, you can miss all you want. also im a huge The End fan

Honestly, i agree with you on Paranoia. Paranoia really puts you in for a loop with Mr. V's teasing. And Overdue was pretty good mimicking the original creepypasta, the whole venture through the several worlds Mr. L creates. No hope went hard, and it's my third favorite of the whole mod, below Paranoia and All-Stars. Take care man. 👍

Honestly I can agree with you on Demise, as much as I like the song, (especially being a song with Boyfriend being chased) MX’s voice really doesn’t really feel right.. some parts he will sound good but some he will sound terrible

It's a double edged sword as the whole theme of wol is mario hoaxes and ect While cc consists of stuff from sm64 classified which wario apparition was featured prominently in the earlier vids

Btw, in Alone, painting Mario is the one that says “Oh.. Mario..” because it is a vision Luigi has made of Mario, thinking what situation he’s probably in within the mansion.

Probably under alone as its really well written and acted Not to mention that its the true send-off to the best mod in all of fnf

overdue retake fixes everything and actually makes overdue a son instead of Luigi just yelling tbh, i think it would be #3 on this list if it was in the actual game

I pretty much agree with this, Dictator, Unbeatable, and No Hope are gems in a treasure trove, and I always felt that Demise was a little too overboard with the spammy bits, so I'm glad you acknowledged that. My only complaint about the placements would be with Overdue: I feel that it kind of loses it's luster after L's reveal, especially since that intense-y vibe was already used in a load of other songs, so it felt a bit repetitive and boring. During the Mario ghost duet and from there on after though, it regains my favor by giving me that beat I was hoping for. Anyways, thanks for the video.

The end is such an underated song

as much as i disagree with a bunch of these, i like how your judgement is based on the comparison to 1. the old mod and 2. the media each song is referencing/is based on and whether or not it fits. i respect ur takes man 👍👍

Honestly surprised that the last 30 seconds of Dictator wasn't mentioned considering it's my favorite bit of the song, and i think one of the best bits in any song.

Droppin a heavy one on ya guys: it’s a me and starman slaughter offered an experience of consistent pure musical bliss and awesomeness unrivaled by any other part of the mod (maybe closely by unbeatable.) the combination of happiness in Horror Mario’s INSANE glow up in chromatic and design I got and the way his kickass voice fit like a jigsaw puzzle in awesome and extremely well-fleshed out rock guitar instrumentals, and AMAZING presentation in theme of red colors and fire, is just the embodiment of what I think of when it comes to “MARIO’S MADNESS.” Not to mention John Dick, you can’t deny he frickin killed it on starman!

I don't know if you've already heard yet, but The End got a remake. What's your thoughts on it, if you have heard it?

My personal top 5 5.All stars (one of the few songs with lyrics I like) 4. Demise (The feeling of the song is just awesome, it also is magnificent to go running to) 3.abandoned (I was genuinely not expecting the switch to sm64 models, as well as the fact that when the screen turns blue, the song literally sounds drowned out) 2. Bad day (it holds a special place here because I found the song had the good feeling motif in it and I found the song on the day of my job interview 1. Unbeatable (Mainly because I’m making a cover and the combinations are awesome.)

My Top 5 songs in MMV2 (omg so original) 1:All Stars: an outstanding final boss song for a soul that wants to end both you and a helpful companion. 2:Starman Slaughter:I was angry that this replaced a banger called “Golden Land” but after hearing it multiple times I’m now happy this replaced GL, because (spoilers) MM says “Let’s take this up a notch” and he wasn’t joking as this song still bangs even if it replaces a banger 3:Overdue, even if it drags, the song, vocals, the references even the drag for me doesn’t effect its rating still a banger no matter what (for me at least) (Next 2 people might disagree with) 4:Promotion: IDC what anyone thinks about this song its underrated and overhated. as a fan of this mod i am cool with your placements and understand we share different opinions 👍

I know this is about the main songs of the mod, but i always wanted to see what people think of the main menu and credits song, they are a banger too. ESPECIALLY the credits song, it almost made me cry ngl, the fact that H.Mario songs about being alone again and questioning if killing bf and gf was really worth it, since they were the only "real" things in that world. And the main menu is the remix of the mario rap song, do i need to tell more about it? Its peak.

Alone got one of the biggest glowups in the mod, and Unbeatable and Thasslophobia got such great song upgrades!

I wonder if I'm the only one; Does anybody else feel that GF's corpse part in All Stars felt like a null melody? I don't know if it is my ear but,the instrumental basically mutes GF's tone making her sound monotonic.

im gonna have a top 7 for mine since i don't wanna leave out the most popular [yet great] songs, tho i heavily prefer the top 5! they are: 1 - paranoia [the visuals!!!!! the angst!!!!!! THE WAY THE SONG MESSES WITH YOUR SCREEN SO WELL!!!!!!!!! 10/10 for me] 2 - oh god no [it's SO SAD IN A WAY THAT the whole scenario [and now concept] is sad in of itself, but the performances and the lil messages of "I HATE YOU" and "WHY WON'T YOU DIE" tear me apart,,,, the fact that the super show mario va was in this was so cool but also added another layer of angst to this song :')))))))] 3 - alone [SO SAD,,,,,,, i love the song itself, gf and bf being the ghosts from luigi's mansion, and THE TRIO WITH MARIO,,,,, not to mention the daisy :'(] 4 - bad day [it's up here since it's the *one* jolly, genuinely wholesome song out of all the weird, super creepy, or even horrifying songs in this mod, and also i like the sound of it!

All Stars is amazing but I have one major gripe with it, and it's the audio mixing for the vocals in act 3. Ultra M's singing is basically eclipsed by everything else going on, his volume needs to be brought up so people can actually appreciate it. I've noticed with a lot of people who play it, they barely realize the singing part is even happening. Otherwise, near perfect song.

Fun fact, juno songs did a lyrical version of no party to make it complete.

im really glad abandoned is pretty high on this list, that song is sooo underrated deadass like top 5 for me in the mod

yeah. tbf this list is a defo improvement over my first tier list when the mod came out e.g i put alone in mid tier, abandoned in low tier and msagr9 in bottom tier lol. and ironically enough the two songs that everybody creams their pants about ( demise and last course ) were in high tier!!!

i stand with every single one of these rankings except 1, and thats Promotion. now it could be to my own personal bias but i absolutely love sm64 classified and Promotion matches the source material PERFECTLY, godlike reference placement with the vocals fitting both mario and Stanley really well
