Hey friends, Your flowers are absolutely beautiful. Love them. My dad loved zinnias. He always had beautiful zinnias. I couldn’t believe he even liked flowers 🌸 🌺. He’s been in heaven now 27 years. I miss him dearly still. I can only hope God has him tending His zinnias and other flowers. 😊

I love using dried hydrangeas on a Christmas tree with white lights. Light the tree, tuck the blooms between the branches and you're done. Simple, beautiful and another way to enjoy the flowers from your garden in the winter.

Miss Lori, we love you and your content and we don't care about glitches! I wanted to tell you about 30 years ago when I had my best garden and was pregnant with my last child we had an over abundance of yellow squash and zucchini. Fortunately everyone loved pickles, so I made squash pickles " without the seeds " of every kind. There were lime dill, bread and butter, sun dill and I even made my mother-in-law's recipe for stickles which was supposed to be with watermelon rind, but I substituted yellow squash. Everything turned out wonderful and it was quite a learning experience 😂

One of the things I liked best about living in England when we were stationed there was that so many people sold flowers at the end of their driveways. My house was always full of cut flowers because I could buy lovely bouquets for under a dollar. The carnations were my favorites because of their scent.

Mrs Lori, I believe those are black eyed susans. medicinal and have same medicinal qualities as the purple echinacea (cone flower). should have a cone head in the center. I love the flowers. when we were stationed overseas, flowers were in abundance. we always had a bouquet on the table from the local growers., Thanks for sharing yours and mr browns life with this community. I believe the wildflower you have is called Indian Blanket/Blanket Flower/Gaillardia. Some "cultivars" will have more or less burgundy in center. Its a prairie plant, short-lived perennial can reseed. So lovely in your garden!

I love this video. You look so relaxed and content working with your flowers. I live in an arid part of Colorado where it is really hard to grow much of anything and it is a joy to see your gardens and flower beds. I enjoy watching British channels too. Miss Lori! I made this casserole today. It’s the BEST casserole I’ve had in a long time. I used turkey sausage. I had to stop myself from eating it so there would be enough for me tomorrow!! I live alone and cook all my meals at home. Eating out is too expensive and, for the most part, the food is not healthy. So, I really enjoy your cooking for two segments.

We have a ton of squash coming up. Tomatoes are green yet. I think your camera thought it should retire, too. We had a lot of zinnias last year and they came back even more. Multi-colored, with a lot of blue ones. The garden is roaring good this year. You're right, flowers make you happy. I have pots of petunias, too. Pretty pink.

Hello Ms Lori. I believe the one wild flower is a coreopsis, I'm growing some. A beautiful orange with purple color. Love my flowers too. They're planted around all 4 sides of my house, and all in with vegetables. Have a blessed day ❤❤

I've always enjoyed every aspect of your vlogs. Today spoke to my heart. I'm not sure o have a favorite cut flower, but I love yellow roses with lilacs. The make the house smell so nice, and the heart shaped leaves of the lilac make a nice green touch. As always, God bless.

Love spending time with you! I grow zinnias and marigolds . I also grew petunias from seed this year! I usually get plants in spring but was able to grow my flowers from seed this year! What a savings and such a feeling of accomplishment!

Nice breeze. I retired Nov 30th 2023. When the weather got cold, I got depressed. I wasnt working, going anywhere, not even outside much because I do Not like cold weather. My oldest daughter sent me a t-shirt that said "Do more of what you love". Maybe next year i will be able to have a decent yard with flowers and vegetables. My mower isn't running so I have "V" grass (bahia) up past my knees, no breeze, 95°, and no rain in 2.5 weeks at least. But by golly come fall and winter this chickadee is going to lay down some landscape fabric and raised beds for flowers and vegetables next year. This week I will be taking the lawnmower in to the shop.
