Yes Yuriy he is. Unfortunately to us he does not give sheeit about his legacy and fanbase. After Risen 1 he invested his money in game-related business and devoted his time to his family (3 kids). Unfortunately, in 2014 he kind of extorted money from his fans on Kickstarter (about 37120 bucks). The whole situation makes me very sad.

Thats gothic for you. You can make plenty of cheerful, crowded tavern pieces, but creating so many emotions is just great. If you ever played any of STALKERs or Metros you can tell how those string instruments can pierce through night in post apo world. Thats hitting differently

When i was playting Gothic 2 for the first time after i played Gothic 1 several times as a kid, i cried when i saw mine valley in ruin hearing this music. Even if it was prison in the story, it felt like home to me. Coming back to it to see it all in ashes with Castle being only intact remant of all the camps just hit too hard for me.

For the last 15 years I have been wondering why I love the nostalgia so much, which the sound of this game brings back to me ... Why is this game so emotionally stuck in my memory? Sometimes I thought it was a matter of plot, sometimes it was a matter of the game world, thanks to which something was happening everywhere, sometimes it was the excitement of not being able to die because my computer was loading the save for 20 minutes, or maybe it was because this game helped for me to calm down after the toe treatment, when I felt terrible pain ... Today I probably understood what it really is! Pay attention to who the nameless person was. He was abandoned, without family, alone in the wild. Must have survived ... Does it remind you of something? We listen to this because this game is an allegory of our childhood. We, who love to listen to the sounds of "Gothic 1 & 2", had a similar childhood. Sick childhood. And this game helped us like no other to escape from what was happening at home. Just take a look at all coments for Gothic soundtrack ... I feel we all have similar story.

There you are again! It feels like I've spent 2 years lying under a load of rocks. Only the magic in these mixes kept me alive.

Man, I really like that flute sound that just evaporates in the air at 4:23. It just gives me that anxious feeling of orcs being around somewhere, and yet it is still very adventurous.

Having to re-experience Gothic 1 and 2 in such fidelity would be amazing.

A surprise to be sure but a welcome one. One of my personal most memorable moments in Gaming is returning to the beloved mining colonie and climbing the Castle in the middle of the night. Thank you for this mix, I hope you will keep doing such a great job. I hope the upcoming Remake will be good... or at least "satisfying".

You returned with the best theme in the game. I love this!

100% waht i needed!! The atmosphere of Gothic 1 and 2 in one compared, for my livingroom, kitchen, shower/bathroom and a campfire in the garden.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍.

When i first time played Gothic, it was the third one. I was about maybe 7 at that time, i couldnt even read and didnt even know what i was clicking in the dialogs. At maybe about 12-14, i dont really know, i got Gothic 2 and hell that was so nice. One year later and i played the first Part. It is until today, in my opinion the Best RPG ever. No other game get the whole bunch of experince together like gothic does. Last time i played the first and second Part was about a year, installed a few reworked mods and better graphics and damn, this game is just a masterpiece. Back when i first played the games, in my young years, everything was ok. No worries what so ever, just playing gothic and enjoying every little piece of it. I wish they would just rework the first and second part. Not like the New test of the first one. Only going for a better enginge, graphics etc. Bug fixing and reintroduce old cut content. Like the Bandit Camp in the hills of the first gothic. If i had more time, i would play the both games again..

Same,i tried to play gothic 1 in like 2003 many times but i was so bad at it and didnt know english very well. When i learned english the game was finally playable :D

Perfection. Always thought that Gothic soundtrack wasn't as special as, lets say, Morrowind. And the fact is I didn't play Gothic for long time. Then I just searched for Night of Raven main theme once, and oh boy, all the memories came back, and I realised how great it is, I realised it have always been there, just more toned. Now Im sure it is as climatic as Morrowinds one.

I recall playing this absolute masterpiece of a Game back in the days as a Kid and i was absolutely hooked. I'm 25 now and every now and then I come back to the game just for the nostalgia. Alone listening to this tune makes feel as if was yesterday ... Thank you Sir.

Played this game as a kid when it came out. I still listen to the soundtrack and go back to it from time to time. I like to listen to this one when its chilly (snowy) during the night when there is no one around with full moon hanging on the sky as a walk home. I think it brings the memories of the night sky in the valley of mines to life in that atmosphere.
