After cleaning yellowed plastics, try hydrogen peroxide 20% cream, apply cream evenly put in clear plastic bag leave in hot sun for 1-2 hours massaging the cream into the plastic while rotating to catch sunlight evenly every 15 minutes, and then polish after washing with soap and water, you will love the results. Great restoration, keep up the good work!

The 8-bit Guy has some cool videos on exactly that.

Raul Gajadhar -- It doesn't last. Once the plastic has begun to 'yellow' it will quickly return after retrobrighting.

Actually just put it in something to hold water, put the yellowed thing in the holding thingy (for example a container) fill the container with water enough to submerge the yellowed thingy, then add peroxide, then optionally, add plastic wrap over the top, you want it to have lots of sunlight i think. Then after, maybe a couple hours, its white! Or whatever color it was before it yellowed

Small Round Boi-- it's got nothing to do with 'temperature' it's UV bleaching, you need sunlight or UV light.

fantastic job
Awesome 👏
Great video, but I am genuinely curious why you didn't use Retrobrite or something similar to take this restoration to the next level?
@VAX1970

Retrobrite is not real it's just diluted bleach (hydrogen peroxide)

a juice blender 👌😁 nice
At 2:45, when you brushed off the dirt my left eye reacted as if the dirt touched it.
Sensacional ✔
Did you buy that from Swamp Thing? Nice turn around in the end though.
dont tell me where you found it... love it...great stuff
Good one
Very nice.
Awesome job! 👍
Very nice :-D
Plastic requires retrobrighting to remove the yellowing
Really nice. 😌 it turned out great. 🍹👌
Only 2 type of people who dislike this video, the one who really expert in restoration and the one who born to dislike others..what a shame

Muy bueno
You well done..
Nice work! It doesn't look to old. Where was burried. I hope you will find the missing parts.
What about retrobriting it. Look on 8 bit guy's channel on how to do retrobriting. Basically, you fill up a casing with water (a couple of liters) and 1-2 bottles of hydrogen peroxide (12%) , soak the yellowed casing and also the yellowed buttons, and put it out the sun or heat up in a other way. This will un-yellow the plastic and restore its original color. You can see the original color inside of it, and around the levers and where the button frame was. NOTE: Soak ONLY the yellowed plastic details, so you have to disassemble it again completely.

It's not heat that is required, it's UV light. Also it's been reported that the retrobrighting doesn't last.

@@spetsnaz1014 correct, it doesnt last, in a few months it will be back, it lasts a lot less that originally, its just the plastic, it cannot be helped

Spetsnaz 101 yup its just a waste of time and money.
Great job. Was bothered by the yellowed plastic though
Hydrogen peroxide helps miracles against such yellowing of plastic.
How is it that the juicer is so old and rusted but all the molded screw holder are intact 😳🤔🤔🤔
2:43 its fake this coupler wont come easily at this condition of machine. and at end u started juicer. it wont start until u put jar on top.
You could plant trees in all that soil cleaned off this thing.

Lol my friend. i couldn't stop laughing since i saw your comment. i almost killed myself on the table.
Keep up good work :)
Nice 👍👍👍👍👍
Judging by the amount of dirt on it one could be forgiven for thinking that this had been found buried in the earth - looks also from the casing inside that the motor may have overheated at some point in the past. Good restoration but I agree with other comments this would benefit from retrobrighting to bring the very yellowed plastic and buttons back to their original white colour (or as close as can be got to white).
Mudou da água pro vinho.
What thing you used for cleaning plastic cover.and what was that white color product you used.
Nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bhai apki videos bht acchi hoti kyo ki isme koi shor shraba nhi hota sidhe main concept pe aa jate ho wo sabse acchi baat hai Happy holi
Blessed hands.
E a vitamina ? Vai fazer aí ou não kkk
bravo
at this level, it's no longer restoration, it's archeology !!!!
Good 😊😊😊😊
Thank you
i am trying to figure out if i would have painted the plastic or left it like you did. the sun bleached yellow has something though. good video. thanks
The best
I love you video
The interesting thing that in all restoration videos there is no broken and missing parts only dirty and rusty
You might be able to restore the whiteness of the appliance with a little bleach if the stain is organic. How did you repair the broken fan? Did you just put it back with it missing a blade? Also, it's missing the entire top half. You're basically just cleaning it, not restoring it. What's the point then?
Try jucie next
Lol in the beginning it looked like it went through a Fallout game 😂👍!
