That looks like a cross between Northern and Southern Irish soda bread, mixture of pan and oven.

For those of you who want to see the recipie/ instructions ingredients beforehand and then prepare as you go along, here you go: Dry Ingredients: 1 lb of flour 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of sugar 1 teaspoon of bread soda Add to dry ingredients Wet Ingredients as follows: Splash of oil or 1 soup spoon ☺️ (2:23) 1 pint (splash) of soured milk (2:30) Note: Substitute a pint of soured milk with dry powdered milk and a splash of vinegar or lemon juice (2:35) or even use fresh milk (2:41), but soured milk gives recipie more flavorful depth Note: 1 pint = 16 oz. or 26 tablespoons 🤔 (2:45 he says "pint") Slowly add pint of soured milk (or the substitute mentioned above) and stir. (2:57) No butter or eggs required 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (2:58) Nope...you haven't let us down yet ☺️ (3:32) To see what the consistency of your dough in it's appearance should look like skip to (3:45) he did not use entire pint as he points out in (3:53) Add a small bit of flour to the dough to now begin your kneading the dough together (4:00) Flour your flat table surface that you will knead your dough on (4:13) Knead your dough ball (4:32) for 30 seconds he stops kneading at (5:02) Then begin to flatten out your dough with your palms and back of hands (5:03) to 1/2 inch dough thickness (5:11) Splash oil on a tray and spread with paper towel and add a bit of flour and tap off excess (5:24) Place dough on oiled floured pan and Then cut off pieces of the dough with a knife (5:54) He explains WHY he cuts into smaller pieces rather than the "Farl" cut which means ,"Four". Cutting into smaller pieces ensures that the bread is distributed amongst the family members based upon them being satisfied by choosing their portion in smaller pieces until they are full 🌝 (clever) (6:15) Dad knows what he's doing 😀!! Go Dad! (6:39) Nice! 13 pieces! Oil sauce pan and rub off excess (7:38) Bown farls in a sauce pan (8:05) "Try not to keep them together. "Make sure to try and social distance" your farls (8:22) 😂😂😂 You are too funny!!! Brown 2 minutes on each side (8:27) Oven at 182 degrees (8:31) Place in oven for 8 mins. (8:34)

I've used many techniques to make farls over the years but I've never done it like this. Can't wait to try it.
