This should have been my dad's song. He left the farm in 1939 for Houston. He always regretted that move.

Only 182 likes, including MINE! Travesty. Met Ricky when I was 13 at a lake in South Orange County Southern California. A week after seeing the Smothers Brotrhers, no less. He was the nicest famous person I met since meeting Bo Diddley and B.B. King TOGETHER at Disneyland when I was six. Shout out to Josh Freese from the Vandals dad for that shit.

Yeah, Why he can't get a haircut I don't know. I guess he's going for the homeless Look. I've wondered if he's trying to look like Bill Monroe in his older days.

Well, Mitch Jayne is dead, so you can't ask him. All I can think of is that there was always more than one saw mill - I've driven threw the back roads here in East TN and there are either active saw mills (plural) or remains of old saw mills (plural). Get it?

Now now, me and Ole G Jones, were just having a friendly discussion on what the words are. No big deal, so, theres certainly no sense in getting your panties in a wad.
