This is one of those songs that would sound great on AM radio while drinking coffee sitting around a campfire. Great to meet you at a Nashville Gulch event last Fall.
Don Peterson here, played in a band with your Dad awhile back. Danny is a real gem and I’ll bet he’s so proud of you. Playing n singing with the legends, don’t get much better than that! Great job Mo. Love it!

Don, I'm really glad Mo stuck with real country music, not the stuff on the radio today. He's got a great gift in that voice. Been following him for a while now. I wish him all the success in the world! You must be just as proud of him as his Dad!.

Mo's Dad is Danny Pitney. He's the cloth Mo is cut from. I was honored to play along side him in The Billy Childers Band back in 2008.
This is LITERALLY one of THE best bluegrass songs!
Marty Stewart, Ricky Skaggs, Gerry Douglas Oh Hell Yeah. Sweet music. Flat out AWESOME. Well done Mo Pitney

No kidding. I have one classic country radio station tuned in to my truck (96.3 KSWG from Wickenburg, Arizona). I thought one day "Let me give the other newer country stations one more chance, and I can tune in those, too. Maybe I'll like it". I couldn't listen past 5 minutes. 🤮

@@nascage I have to pay to get good music. Sirius/XM Bluegrass Junction is what I listen to 80% of the time. The other 20% is 90s country.

So many great musicians and instruments. A lot of the "Faux Country" i.e. New Country only needs one instrument, a 750 CFM Leaf Blower.
Tears in my eyes remembering most of this crew was on the JD & New South's recording of this classic...you done Tony Rice proud son 💜.
I do believe this is the best country bluegrass i have ever heard..i need to see this every few days. Perhaps its the music and the smiles..
Mo Pitney.. wow, I believe this guy should be a way bigger star of county music.. the real essence of what the county sound is.

I love this song so much. We love y’all!
I first saw Ricky and Jerry in the flesh 50 years ago in those few months they played with the Country Gentlemen (with Charlie and Doyle, Bill Yates. James Bailey had just left so Ricky was playing banjo) and I had just got my first copy of Skaggs & Rice. Over the years I've considered myself privileged to have been in the right place at the right time to enjoy that group over a long weekend. The kids are looking as old as I am now
Unbelievable stuff

Great video!
Great song and video. I could listen to all of these guys all day long. Jon Randall sings excellent harmony; such talent in that guy. I don't follow country or. bluegrass music, but I heard Mo Pitney in Nashville several years ago and loved his sound. I thought I was hearing Jon Randall for the first time on this video, which made me look for other videos he's done. In the course of that, I realized I had heard him on other songs, but thought I was listening to Vince Gill. What a pure sound he has.

Believe it or not. First time seeing this video of Mo. But it doesn't surprise me. This young man is the real deal. Can't wait to see him LIVE
AWESOME ❤
Just saw him play at Marrowbone Brewery, he was great.
Mo - my late father LOVED your music. Thanks so much for making music that matters.
That song was written about me, I left my farm I grew up on when I was a teenager and did concrete work in cities but I got sick of that when I was still young and now I do have a little hobby farm. But I am still very sad that my 2 older brothers ruined the farm I grew up on and I wish that I was dead too
Perfection !!
🎉 Brilliance!!!🎉 Great music as always Mo 👏👏👏👏
Wow, amazing voice!
