I was just telling a friend about the same thing. I told her to watch the last garden tour video. You and Tipper are some of the few channels left that haven’t sold out and have stayed true to who you are and we all feel so blessed to be taken along. Miss Loria I saw this video the other day. Tonight I made a delicious dinner and came back and grabbed this video. I needed an equally delicious dessert!!! Here we go. I know I will have a piece hot out of the oven because I can never wait for my coconut pie to cool. Haha! Good to see you hun!!

Oh Miss Lorie so delicious!! I did not have half and half and I did not have a full cup of whipping cream either. But I did have 1/4 cup of cream and 1 and 3 1/4 cups of whole milk. I also skipped the heavy whisking to mix in the flour. I mixed the flour and sugar together then added the milk and walla, instantly mixed with not a single clump 🐜 no heavy beating. I just stirred the milk into the flour with no problems. Then I added the 2nd cup of milk, the eggs and I made sure the butter was liquid and whisked it in just like tempering eggs into a hot liquid.then added the vanilla and the coconut. I also placed my cookie sheet on the middle rack of the oven and placed my 9"pie plate on the cookie sheet and then poured my filling into the buttered pie plate. I have 3 tears in my left shoulder and did not want to risk spilling the liquid. Once the pie was cooked, it was no problem removing the pie from the oven. I loved the pie. I gave half of it to my neighbor. I thought for a minute he was going to kiss me on the mouth when he tasted it. LOL. Thank you and God bless you and Mr. Brown.

If this is the Bisquick Impossible Coconut Pie recipe it is a winner and a favorite for over 40 years.

We used to always made the Bisquick impossible coconut pie. Thank you for sharing. I just was cleaning out my cupboards and found a bag of coconut from Easter. I’m going to make this pie. I think I’ll serve fresh strawstrawberries on the side.

You should always, always mix your sugar and your flour together before anything else is added . The granules in the sugar cuts into the flour and smooths it out .... .watched my grandmother make these pies years and years ago. I'm 77 years old and love making custard pies ..And i sure do love watching Whippoorwill holler😊😊😊

I grew up making this. Our ingredient amounts are not exactly the same, but the results are the same. I have even converted this to a low carb version with a low carb flower, unsweet coconut flakes and sugar free sweetener. We always ate ours chilled. So good!

I just love this pie made just the custard pie for yrs.then started adding coconut,now I even put some chopped pecans in it it is my favorite.God Bless ❤️
