You are doing an amazing job, & holding those boards up on your ceiling with nobody to help is extra difficult!! 👍 You're teasing about the light bulbs, right? We're retired residential contractors, & we've never seen a light fixture come with bulbs. That's another extra expense!! 😔 God bless y'all! Thanks for another great video!! 🙏👍😍 Try putting crown moulding at the top of that wall.

All I do on the last ceiling boards is cut them 1/4” less so they go up easy, them do a moulding all around to make it look good, thinner mouldings work best they will bend to the profile of the ceiling, poplar works great less knots and bens easy.

Whether from a local store or online most light fixtures don’t come with lightbulbs. It saves the manufacturer money and reduces damage during shipping.

Ceiling and walls are looking great Wes. I love the wood look. Reminds me of summer vacations as a kid. We'd usually go to southern Missouri somewhere, rent a cabin for the weekend, and those almost always had the Knotty Pine walls and ceiling in them. Don't remember if you've said or not, but are you leaving the wood as is? Or going to maybe stain, and or varnish them when you're done??

Wes, may I offer a suggestion concerning the top wall boards that are yet to be installed? Get some assistance and hold the board against the wall and snugged up to the ceiling. Then scribe the top edge at the ceiling. Make your scribed cut along the top edge. Then, place the board into location and mark the lower edge where it mates to the upper edge of the existing wall boards. This method should result in a perfectly matched closure board. Hope that helps.

Hey it`s looking great, we ordered a fixture off of Amazon, and I had trouble getting bulbs to thread in, they are just built so cheap inside, the female aluminum threads, they barely match American threads, with a little finessing, we got them all in, can`t wait to see the rest, are you going to put a finish on the boards, when you are done?

One thing I learned not long ago is that America has its own thread standards, I have tried to fit like 8 different threads onto American garden hose fitting while living in the EU, but nothing worked 🥲 Im guessing same problem might telescope to lightbulbs when you buy imported stuff.
