We took early retirement from Chennai and went to Vedantha Retirement community, Kinathukadavu on Rental Basis only since we wanted to test the waters before we start dipping Fully.. OMG 😳 within 6 months we faced 10+ problems relating to Food and Housekeeping services which are The Most Important thing Why we went to A retirement home. Every 2,3 months Cooks ran away for unknown reasons, house keeping girls stopped coming regularly on daily basis, so it became alternate days cleaning due to shortage of people. Yes charges were the same... Tremendous amount of EGO for the Owners and they have scant regards for the Tenants who can't Voice their concerns and suggestions for anything about facilities and services. One Lady owner Committee member openly Ridiculed us in the Monthly meeting that being A tenant, we have NO Rights and can't Voice our concerns, which were Tolerated by others and also by the management of Vedantha, by the Same Ashwin who is Boasting his Inability and incapability of bringing an hormonious solutions. We decided enough is enough and Happily Walked out of Vedantha Brindavan Retirement Community, Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore and Took A decision of NOT to look at ANY other retirement community in future, unless GOD willing, we ourselves start ONE at Coimbatore for just 25-30 families of manageable groups. If you have tons of money, sumptuous monthly income either as pensions, foreign remittance etc., Willing to look the other side, keep your mouth and ears shut, tolerate untasty, unsuitable food, then you are the Right Candidate... Else.... Retirement Homes for A middle class family is expensive, unaffordable and very Intimidating for A sensible persons. Period🙏😳😱

If you make it exclusively senior citizen home and see only elderly people. The energy will be down since you may encounter sick people. Mixed age group with facilities is the best option.

Normal apartments with medical care, house care and minimum recreation may also be useful.

This is only for rich persons Mostly NRI people's parents only can have,not at all suitable for middle class, they are telling they themselves buying,that is possible only for persons who are earning well during their service period

Don't go with these people. Protect your hard earned money and if not, go for trial. Until money go to their pocket, they show as if they are humble and polite😁 after that they show their true faces. And also charge miscellaneous costs around in lacs.

Do you sell this apartment only for seniors? If you sell or rent it for others, seniors may have disturbance from their neighbors

@@karthikakarthika9619 s. A seperate room with all amenities costs 40 thousand as on date and sharing is 20 in all kind of homes. This is in addition to you buying a one bhk with all your savings. Suppose you fall ill next you are ripped off. Not blaming but the cost of labour is so high that only high pensionets/ NRI/ rich i mean rich can only afford this kind of homes. My aunt is taken care by a girl and uncle taken care by a male attendant. My uncle refused the home due to the cost( though his son is extremely well off and willing to foot the bill). ,,No at home for these two salary nearly 40 k + food they are bearing. Next they need to pay the cook and cost of provision + milk+ EB. Monthly bill runs to 1.2 to 1.40 average including medical treatment without rent. How many middle class can afford and also how long. It's a big question. Next week my ex colleague is coming and i will be visiting another home where his uncle stays and see the situation as many suggest that i should go to aged home 😂😂😂😂

This nothing when compared to Suprabath retirement community. Mevallurkuppam near Savitha medical college . Food most unhygenic Human hair. Barebody cooks . They donot have accounting for your money . They ask u details of your payment when you leave . Fixed deposit 6 lakhs no interest. Admission 1 lakh monthly. 17,700/- No Dr No nurse. Local worker is the nurse . For plate washing Rs 1500/ EB charges. Rs 18/- per unit. Washing Rs 20/per cloth . No transport If you avail Rs 16/- per km . So i left with in ten months . All these communities are. Builders shifted to this . Once joined no respect .

It will be like any other apartment, only deep pockets can afford with inbuilt dining hall and all other garden ext located in the 5th floor which nany seniors will not go. This is just marketing technique to wash away seniors money. They cannot run long. Many unsold inventory there.
