MAYBE he was contemplating ALL of the infrastructure that has (also) been impacted by this tragedy and will need to be replaced & restored. Government runs on tax dollars- infrastructure too. Without that- there is none. Those who hold those positions; who have a conscience; are mindful of the “bottom line”. Might not have been the most thoughtful comment- but I doubt he was malicious in spirit.

I used to live in sulphur as a kid. I have family we visit yearly. When I saw the man walking up to the mic I said that building in the background looks like the casino in Sulphur. When that man said Sulphur I just gasped and called my family and friends in Sulphur.
