It's just so sad because Oklahoma has some of the nicest cities and towns in the country. People of Sulphur, please do not let this tornado be the end of your lovely town. We are with you should you decide to rebuild. Things can be replaced and rebuilt, people not so much.

I visited my family last year in Sulfur and it's a beautiful town with great people. Thank God my family is okay. I agree with you and am sending love from Las Vegas ❤🙏

Shelter should be put in place for each rd in the town if they can doit to fit 20 people and some pets

First.....let me say my heart goes out to everyone touched by these tornadoes. Then....did anyone else get totaly upset with the local news chanels the day after this disaster at their apparent misguided idea of importance in what was going on in yhe state? I understand there was a marathon going on to remember the bombing (as if we need a foot race to remember that) but i watched the news for over an hour and a half and there was absolutely nothung being said about the tornadoes and the peolle effected be the storms..... I really believe there is a disconect in our world as to what takes priority of importance in the lives of people.... Just my thoughts ......

Amazing how cheaply these houses were made. There like tinder houses. Huff and a puff and your house is gone. Cities need to get tougher on the builders in tornado alley. Be made of strong 2 to 3 inch wood for the walls not plywood. Same for the roofing. All be anchored into the ground. Roof should be anchored as well. Why the damage is so great is because of using cheap plywood that cannot with stand winds of over 100 mph. Roofing should be 2 to 3 inches thick. Live in tornado alley want your house to stand need to build stronger houses. A well built house should be able to with stand an Ef3 with just some damage. Back in the day this was how houses were built. Not these days. Look at the pictures and these houses and businesses look like match box sticks. Shame on these builders. They know your house will collapse in a tornado that just an Ef 2. They make double the money building another just like it. Building codes need top be up dated to with stand an Ef 3 tornado in tornado alley. You would not have this desvastation in an Ef 3 tornado. Time to get tough on these builders.

I lived here until a year ago. Most of the buildings and homes destroyed were just really old. I still agree with you though. If only it were more affordable to the average Joe.

Lord Jesus Christ Almighty! Gave us mercy kept his people harm. Why does the Lord bless and protect, preserve and on the other side the Lord lift his hand then , destruction, death always follow.
