Oil Change On The Road | DIY | Toyota GR Corolla
How I'm going to do this with my GR Corolla. I had to be creative but I came up with an idea that worked well and I managed to make it work. I didn't know the dealers in the Albuquerque area so I preferred to do the oil change myself as it was due. I had several thousand miles still to travel and needed to get this done.

Hi Jim, I’ve been enjoy your content! So I’m A senior and plan on buying a GR soon. Two questions; how is the ride of GR on long trips? Lastly is Amsoil is your favorite synthetic oil? Thanks in advance

Thank you, I appreciate that! I find the ride to be firm but comfortable and not bothersome. I've had 2 back surgeries over the years and I had no issues on this 5300 mile road trip. This was the first time I've ever used Amsoil. I got a friend that is a big believer in it and is always telling me to try it so I finally agreed to do so. I'm a big fan of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and that's what I've always run on my cars. I might try compare them to each other and send in used oil for testing. Both should be fine since the GRC calls for more frequent oil changes so the oil will most likely be fine on both at the 6 month mark when I change it.
Jim how many miles you have? I know you did the break in and 5K

I'm currently at 10773 miles after this road trip. The dealer did the 6 month service at 2800 miles.
