thanks for the video. i have the same bike and there's actually a little flap on the fairing that opens up specifically for oil changes. its right where the oil cap is located. don't know if you noticed it since uploading this vid but it would make your oil changes slightly faster. thanks for the video though

Thanks for the video but "washing off" oil with a hose? We could see oil streaks down your driveway. EPA wouldn't be awful happy about that. Better to wipe off with a rag then finish up with carb/brake cleaner (catching residue in oil pan) then dispose of responsibly.

I'm new to the biking world, and I got a 98 Katana- same instructions apply right even for that year? BTW..great intructional video dude - I havent seen any other videos (yet) on other stuff ie; tune-ups, tire changes, chain inspections and other mechanical stuff. I got a book coming but some of the stuff I want to do now - again ty for posting the oil change one.
