Oil Change And Yearly Service | Porsche Panamera
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This video covers the oil change and yearly service procedure on a first generation Porsche Panamera 3.6L V6. Porsche states the engine oil and filter change is to be completed every 10k miles or once a year.
During the yearly service the most important aspect is the clearing of all water management drains. If these drains are not kept clear there is a possibility of water entry into the cabin.
Call our parts department to purchase Wurth HHS-K or Winzer Rubber Restore.

My name is Ryan. I’ve been a professional automotive technician for over 10 years. Through high school I worked at an independent service shop every day after class, during the summer, and then part time while I attended Universal Technical Institute. While at UTI I applied for and was accepted into the Porsche technology apprentice program (PTAP) in Atlanta Georgia for 6 months of factory training. Once I returned to Chicago, I started my Porsche career at Loeber Motors Porsche in Lincolnwood, Illinois. I’ve been at my dealership for 7 years now.
Every day I come into the shop I strive for perfection in my abilities to maintain and service these amazing machines. My goal with this channel is to show what goes into keeping new and classic Porsche vehicles on the road for years to come.

The mechanic is the prime example of someone who respects his skillset, his client's vehicle and the brand.

@@vsboy2577 treat the customers cars as he would treat his. Also there is something said about going above and beyond and I am sure his co-workers, the shop foreman, service manager, HR and the higher ups notice this. I hope the customer notices it as well.

A P Kind of hard to give a shit when you have to rush just to make flat rate. Would love to spend time on customers cars, but that means i get screwed.
Now this is a man that truly cares to be top notch in his industry. The attention to detail is on another level. I would gladly pay to get my vehicle serviced by a guy like this!!
True professional and unmatched work ethics... and you definitely brings lots of respect to the industry and professionals like yourself.
I'm litteraly, gonna pay the $350 each way to ship my 4S to you for yearly service . You are on point.
At first I wondered why the dealer allowed these videos, they’re fantastic, but it must take a little longer to set up. But now I get it, for those of us that wonder why service visits are expensive, here’s the reason. I can only hope that this effort is repeated on my cars here in Toronto. If you ever wanted to move, I’ll be your sponsor. Thank you, your videos as always are a highlight.

You said "if you wonder why the service visits is so high, here's the reason...." lol! Sorry, I must have missed it. What exactly did he do that is worth $600 for oil change? I've done the exact same thing for $75 in about an hour and a half for the last decade my panamera turbo still runs like new. The real reason it cost so much is because you are paying the wage for a master mechanic for an oil change instead of a qualified, competent base level tech. That's equivalent to hiring a Master Brain Surgeon and paying his wage to put a bandaid on your finger instead of a nursing assistant or doing it yourself. That Brain Surgeon charges $300 an hour and you got to pay him for his expertise, decades of experience, years of school, student loans and all his tools and equipment. He is way too over qualified just to hire for petty stuff like an oil change. Hire him for serious stuff that only he can do. If you silly enough to hire him to put fill your tank with gas it would cost you $600 but at least you will have a professional filled tank of gas. That's why it's so expensive.

@@hellbent7062 smh, people like this are why he had to stop posting content I am sure. This isn't a how-to just giving you a sample of what is done on these fine machines. Not sure if you are aware but these businesses operate for profit unlike the weekend warrior changing oil at home. There are enormous expenses operating a dealership service department, especially for Porsche. You're not paying for a master tech to just change your oil as you get a glimpse into other things checked so that Dr changing your bandaid is looking at more than your 75.00 bobos. If you're going to menstruate about the oil change cost I would buy a Camry.
I wanna buy a used Panamera just so this guy can service it! This is awesome 👏
After watching this man's videos my ambition changed to becoming a car repair technician just like him.

Female here and this video gave me confidence do to my own maintenance. Trusting car shops has cost me immensely. Now I see that Trusting them to be ethical was naivety. And I learned the hard way that I need to be knowledgeable about vehicles and learn how to do things myself at least until I find an honest mechanic 🧡💫
Miss these vids
Ryan, you're an inspiration. I hope my own car is serviced with this level of care and attention.
Would love to see a tool box tour in the future. It would be interesting to see what a Porsche tech uses on a daily basis
You're awesome for doing this video. I need a Panamera in my life!!

Excellent! This was truly satisfying to watch this artist at work.
So satisfying.
Makes me want to drive my Porsche to Chicago for service! I pray my technician is this thorough and enthusiastic in his craft.
Great work! Very detailed.
I hope all mechanics do it right the same way like him. Great job bud.
Thanks, I picked up a number of details to include in my home servicing. Sure wish I had a lift in my garage!
keep up the great work.. more techs are needed like this in dealerships as many rush through the jobs as they punch in for the job an are only payed so much per job for whatever it is that needs to be repaired/diagnosed so many techs cut some corners to get as many jobs as they can done in a day.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Professional work!
great work like always

More time was spent cleaning the car than actually performing the oil change:) but given all the different drains that need attention it’s probably just as...if not even more important. Great vid as always.

So meticulous. So satisfying.
Whoever this guy is, he did an excellent job, i am a guy who pays attention to details, and that's exactly what he did worth TLC 💯
thank you, this video helps a lot for my new job at the Porshe dealership. I just graduated and looking for knowledge.
Work well done! I wish my local Porsche center were similar dedicated, they replaced the rubber seals on the two rear door and didn't treat them with anything afterward, so I had to pull rather hard to get the doors open later on, and it left marks on the paint, or took of some paint.
Very nice work and thank you for showing the important spots. It is about the details: spraying on the towel, not near the windshield... I (hopefully) found some on my Boxster while washing it by hand. Only then you know the spots you might look at when the next purchase is waitin... ;)
