My daughter and I live eight miles from the stadium and get to see him play regularly. We were at today's game, last Friday's two-homer game against the Orioles, and the game against the Royals when he hit the 470-foot blast. We are really freaking lucky to be able to witness parts of Ohtani's historic season in person.

I went to the game today just to see Ohtani live, hoping he would hit a home run. As a dodgers fan I have to say this kid is VERY special.

Keep in mind this guy first signed with the Angels at the MLB minimum salary of $545,000 in 2017. Just shows how much he wanted to follow his dreams and come play in the US. What a competitor, gambatte Ohtani san!

I saw his first game at Angel Stadium in 2018 and 10 more live games since then. I bought his jersey and a bat with his name on it on day 1. I never thought he'd be a baseball super-duper star so soon. I'm loving baseball again.

Just amazing to see and to be a witness of something special! Can't wait for the H.R. contest. THE only reason I'll be watching is because of him!

Actually he got 9 HR the next day he pitched in 12 games . 22 from other 50 games as DH and 1 from 10 games he is pitching. He is quite at high ratio to have a HR next day he pitched.

I remember growing playing baseball watching field of dreams till the vcr tape wore out and get stuck and having to rewind it by hand . All those great players ty Cobb , shoeless joe Jackson and now i feel like a kid and his dream has come true !

Shohei might feel pressure from himself to play everyday since he knows many fans and children come to see him play and some children may be sad if they don't to get to see him play.
