What a game, props to both teams for putting on a show

I was at the game today and am a big Michigan long time season ticket holder. I shook hands with some Ohio State fans on the way out and congratulated them on 1st class effort and game today! This is a fun game to attend - the best im my opinion. It takes two great teams to make it The Game - and they did today! Thanks to the great players and coaches on both teams!

That td from Roman was 50/50 call on field stood but osu kept getting away with outside holds by the wrs and that fumble that should have been an incompletion, so it went both ways. The story of it is like 2016 how Michigan threw 2 pics that led to 2 tds this game was the same way never let the games be in the hand of the refs. If osu didn’t throw that first pick and miss that fg they woulda won or been kicking fg to win it at end so blame your own team for 2 fatal mistakes

I’ve gotta say, Mark Ingram nailed it with his halftime analysis. I thought he was crazy saying the second half would be all about establishing the run after a first half where neither team got anything on the ground. But OSU’s one big drive was all runs at the end. Michigan getting a huge rushing touchdown, then drained the clock to a minute left with runs.

Or in 1988, when OSU ran it down Michigan’s throats to get back into the game and take a late lead, only for Kolesar to beat them on a deep PASS again to win it. Or total defensive domination games, like 1990 and 1992. Or a defensive battle in 1996 blown open by a big catch and run by Streets. Or a game Michigan lost on poor special teams play, like 1998. Turnovers and special teams play winning it for them the year before in 1997. Or 1999, where OSU ran the ball much better than Michigan, but their garbage QB kept throwing picks, and Michigan had Tom Brady. Or 2005, where U-M blew a two score lead in the final five minutes because of Ohio State’s passing. Or 2006, where Michigan asserted itself like crazy in the run game in the second half, but lost anyway. Or games like 2012 or 2016, where second half turnovers were the deciding factor. Did you just watch the last two and think that was universal?

@@MP197742 Michigan won the 1985 contest on the strength of controlling the ball for 12 minutes of the 3rd quarter, turning a 10-10 halftime tie into a 20-10 Michigan lead that would ultimately be enough to win the game. That 77 yard TD was unnecessary. Without it, Michigan still wins by 3. And just a quick glance at the rest of the games your siding, I can see you have no idea what win a football game. lol.

It’s important to note that Ohio State isn’t a bad team. They played well. They have beaten almost everyone else except Michigan the last three years. And OSU was ranked #1 part of the season. But Michigan has raised their level of play to the point that they are a legit National Championship contender! This is a great team at Michigan! Arguably the best team in the country. That’s what it takes to win the Big 10 now. And it will only get tougher next year with four PAC teams joining the Big 10.

@TheSchaef47 oh now he had body parts down after crossing the goal line, it was explained you should have listened. They explained it again on the Fleming reception as he was going out of bound. Try to keep up next time. In addition Fleming only made two steps going out while Wilson had made 4 steps as he crossed the goal line.

I don't care about being nice to anyone at ABC or ESPN . Gossip and setting the click baiting for months did not stop Michigan. And the bias Commentating by Gus Johnson and Klatt at Fox really stunk bad. Hail to the Victors . Go Blue ! What's Ryan Day excuse this time ? Klatt called that Michigan td as questionable when the receiver took four steps , ( that's control) , then went two yards deep into the end zone with the ball, then had OSU player rip it out klatt called it questionable, and said it should come back. He took four steps with the ball, then went two yards deep , once the ball broke the plain, it was a touchdown. Klatt acts like he didn't know this ..

How wasn’t it a td? The ball completely came to a stop in his hands then the defender reached in and it moved a little then he moved the ball up near his head where it again did not move. How many times does Ohio st get to rip at the ball before it’s a completion? 5 to 10 times? It was definitely a catch

What an awesome day. When the fans still wouldn't leave the field after the game, the P.A. guy finally said, "C'mon, even Fox Sports has left." :)

UM knew OSU's signs and cheated. That's why. Doesn't matter. UM's last three years are all getting vacated within the next three months by the NCAA anyway

Ryan Day coached to not lose, instead of coaching to win. He punted on 4th and 1 at midfield, and kicked a long field goal on 4th and 2 with 35 seconds left in the 1st half. Michigan went for it on almost every 4th down and short yardage, meaning they coached to win, and they won. Ryan Day is the problem, and he needs to be fired. It also doesn't help that their QB is garbage, and it's Day's fault that they went into the season with the QB room they did.
