Finally, college football is BACK!

I dont care what anyone says, watching these teams that arent power 5 to me, is just as exciting. I just love the game. all conferences derseve love in my opinion.

It's very exciting because they're on the same level of competition so it doesn't look soo lopsided and is just fun football

My two favorite Cali schools are SDS and Fresno St. Mainly because in the past neither school was afraid to play anyone at anytime in P5.

Miss The Aztecs! Use to go to the games...I was there when Marshall Faulk ran up & down the field...great memories! Looks like the fan base is still the same! That stadium should be packed! I live around Austin & every game is pretty much sold out!!! SDSU has to do a better job promoting their football team...GO AZTECS!!!

Ohio looking better

This was my first time going to a football game in years, the last time being at the previous Qualcomm Stadium when the Chargers were still here.

San Diego has such good weather and location for football, sad to see such low turnout, in a brand new stadium, for a season opener. C'mon SD you can do better than that!

Same old SDSU-good defense, anemic offense. But hey a win is a win. Good start to the season.

Wait... Like most ppl I didn't watch this game live but its one of the few games that were played so I watched the highlights. How did Ohio NOT score a touchdown after the option play?? The commentator then proceeded to refer to the FG as an "extra point" maybe it was 3rd and goal when they ran the option to the 2 yard line... I have to go back and look

Terrible roughing the passer call that got Ohio back in this game. Thankfully the better team pulled away nonetheless.

Agree! The final score of this game should have been 27-6. That roughing the passer call was total BS. What was the defender supposed to do - he was just a few feet away from the QB with a full head of steam when the ball was released? Obviously the official who threw that flag has never played football himself or he'd know that a pull-up was just not possible.

One thing I noticed about SDSU's Head Coach since taking over, they always have 2 giant size safeties, especially at the SS position. SDSU is so underrated as they CAN BEAT ANY PAC 10 Team right now, not any given..

OU Quarterback sucks.. and #21 on Defense watches the QB instead of what the recievers are doing in his zone.. same with with #38 on defense on that TD.. he was like.. duh????? and left his guy

Worst thing the Aztecs ever did was change offenses to this lame zone read….the pro run heavy sets they ran made them unique and tough to deal with…now they have to recruit with everyone else..and nothing to make them different…thanks coach Hoake…you changed the o and then when it went south….you retired.
